Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/Railway Station (NJP) & Transfer to Gangtok
- Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), where you will be greeted by our representative.
- Transfer to Gangtok, enjoying the scenic journey through the hills.
- Check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
- Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake, located 38 kilometers from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet.
- Admire the beauty of the glacial lake, which changes appearance with the seasons, remaining frozen in winter and surrounded by blooming flowers in spring.
- Visit Baba Mandir, situated at an altitude of 13,123 feet, about 52 kilometers from Gangtok. The temple is dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier of the Punjab Regiment, and is known for its intriguing legend.
- (Optional) Visit Nathula Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world, located at 14,450 feet on the Indo-China border. The pass is open to tourists on select days, and a permit is required at least 72 hours in advance.
- In case of road closures due to landslides or weather conditions, alternative sightseeing arrangements will be made.
- Return to the hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Gangtok Full-Day Sightseeing
- After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok.
- Visit Hanuman Tok, a popular temple offering panoramic views of the city.
- Explore Ganesh Tok, a scenic viewpoint with a small temple dedicated to Lord Ganesh.
- Stop at Tashi View Point for breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.
- Witness the beauty of Jhakri Falls, a cascading waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.
- Visit the Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom to explore traditional Sikkimese crafts and textiles.
- Explore Do Drul Chorten Stupa, one of the most important Buddhist stupas in Sikkim.
- Experience the Gangtok Ropeway, offering a bird’s-eye view of the city and mountains.
- Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which houses a vast collection of Buddhist artifacts and scriptures.
- Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 4 Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB)/Railway Station (NJP)
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.
- Depart for Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) for your onward journey.

I recently had the most memorable trip to Sikkim, covering Gangtok, Pelling, and (Read More) Darjeeling, and all the credit truly goes to Mrs. Anuradha from Krishna Travel DMC, Sikkim. Her planning, dedication, and attention to every little detail made this journey absolutely seamless and special.
From the very beginning, Mrs. Anuradha was extremely patient, understanding, and responsive. She carefully curated the entire itinerary keeping our comfort and preferences in mind.
