Day 1 Dar es Salam| Nyerere National Park former Selous Game Reserve

Day 2 Game Drive Nyerere National Park

Breakfast followed by a full day game viewing drive in the park.
Nyerere National Park is the largest national park in Africa, covering about 30,893 sq km.
It is one of the most pristine wildernesses remaining in Africa.

Riverine forests

The mighty Rufiji River flows through the National Park to the Indian Ocean.

Cancellation Policy

A cancellation must be sent in writing to the office by email that confirmed the reservation.
Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office.
In case of a booking cancellation, the company shall retain the full deposit if not agreed differently.
If a booking is cancelled, the client is subject to a cancellation fee on paid deposits as follows:

More than 6 weeks prior to departure – no cancellation fee
Until 4 weeks prior to departure – 30% cancellation fee
4-2 weeks prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee
2-1 weeks prior to departure – 75% cancellation fee
Less than 1 week prior to departure – 100% Cancellation Fee

Flights are excluded from refund options.
In case a trip must be cancelled, we cannot guarantee a full refund for flights as this is subject to the specific airline.

We booked with Azam ferries for our 3 day trip to Zanzibar where we met James a friendly gentleman who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We mentioned to him that we intended to visit Mikumi (Read More) game reserve on our return and it turns out that he is also involved in organising safari trips. We booked with him and he made sure all our needs and requirements were met. Our all inclusive trip started when he came to pick us up from our hotel took us the train station and ensured we got on board the train safely. On reaching Morogoro we were met by Hassan who drove us to Mikumi, where where we had lunch and then we proceeded for the game drive with our guide and driver Kevin who ensured we got to see a variety of animals including lions, zebras, buffalo, hippos etc. The next day we went on another game drive and reached Morogoro just in time for lunch. We were dropped off at the train station for our return journey to Dar es Salaam. On reaching Dar we were met by James and a driver and taken to our hotel. We would like to thank James for organising this Mikumi Safari adventure. Everything was as he had promised. Anyone thinking of going on all inclusive safari should contact James at Azam ticket office.
