Day 1 Depart from Nairobi for Masai Mara

Meet at Sarova Stanley for breakfast before departing for Maasai Mara.
Stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment for a photo session.
Continue the five-hour drive to Masai Mara and arrive at the camp for check-in and lunch.
Spend the afternoon relaxing before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Enter the park and search for zebras, antelopes, giraffes, elephants, and lions.
Enjoy the sunset and return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 Full Day in the Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart for a full day of game viewing.
Search for lions, leopards, elephants, and other wildlife.
Take a short walking safari along the Mara River to spot crocodiles, hippos, and migration routes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch and a photo session at the Serengeti–Masai Mara border.
Continue the game drive, exploring the vast plains until late afternoon.
Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and visit a Maasai Village for a cultural tour.
Interact with the Maasai community and learn about their traditions and way of life.
Depart for Nairobi with a stopover in Naivasha for lunch.
Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island.
Transfer back to Nairobi and drop-off at the airport or your city hotel.

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

The entire trip was handled with extreme professionalism by both Janet and our g (Read More)uide Bonnie. We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
