Day 1 Dar es Salam| Kigoma - Gombe Stream National Park

Early morning transfer to Dar es Salaam Airport
Flight to Kigoma Town
Arrival meet with your guide
Departure by boat to Gombe Stream National Park
Afternoon chimpanzee tracking
Visit Kakombe waterfalls
Kakombe is approximately a 30 minute walk from camp
You will often pass these falls when tracking Chimpanzees

Day 2 Chimps Tracking in the forest and back to Kigoma Town

A cancellation must be sent in writing to the office by email that confirmed the reservation.
Cancellations shall only be effective from the date of receipt of cancellation by the booking office.

Until 4 weeks prior to departure – 30% cancellation fee
4-2 weeks prior to departure – 50% cancellation fee
2-1 weeks prior to departure – 75% cancellation fee
Less than 1 week prior to departure – 100% Cancellation Fee

One of the agencies that sell tickets for the ferry. They will try to make you pay way too much. The man suddenly put approximately 50 USD too much on the PIN machine. You are better off buying ticket (Read More)s online up front. Then 2 staff members walked with us to the end of the street to show us the entrance to the jetty. They were very aggressive demanding a 10 USD tip. Don't book with this company.
