Day 1 Nairobi to Maasai Mara
  • Pick up from your hotel or airport.
  • Commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley.
  • Arrive in time for lunch.
  • Check in and have lunch.
  • At 4:00 PM, depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve, which ends at 6:00 PM.
  • Return to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner.
  • Enjoy a good time for resting.
  • Accommodation: Mara Safari Lodge
  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five.
  • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park under the shade of a croton tree, overlooking the vast landscape.
  • Experience the great migration, one of the most spectacular events in the natural world, where millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture.
  • Observe the predators of the savanna, including lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures, following the migration.
  • Accommodation: Mara Safari Lodge

All arrangements including hotel, game drives, food arrangements, personalised s (Read More)ervices by İmara Destinations was excellent We started our trip from New Delhi to Nairobi via Mumbai by Indigo flight. Dennis was there to welcome us at the airport early in the morning. We started off to Samburu, had lunch on the way had a relaxing evening at the resort. We had a wonderful game drive next day at the samburu national reserve, saw a leopard, zebra, giraffe, ostrich, etc from close quarters. We went to ol Pajeto conservancy, fed blind rhino, saw chimpanzees and other animals including two horned rhinos, proceeded to Nakuru saw pelicans, flamingos etc there, Masai Mara we stayed for three nights and had two game drives. Could see lots of lions, cheetah with its prey as well as a pregnant cheetah, zebras, giraffes etc. we also saw ostriches and other animals and birds there. We then went to Naivasha had a boat ride with walk and see crocodiles and hippos and crescent island visit walked with zebras, impalas and wildebeest but couldn’t see giraffe there. Due to floods last year many parts of crescent island got submerged so could only see part of the island. Our last destination was Amboseli park with game drive there. Overall it was a highly satisfying and interesting experience. İmara Destinations did a very good job of taking us to the exact spots where animals would be seen uninterrupted. Well done İmara Destinations. Thanks to Dennis and Murray for it

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.
