- Early morning pickup from your hotel in Dar Es Salaam.
- Start safari to Mikumi National Park; the trip will take approximately 5 hours.
- Arrive at Mikumi National Park and proceed directly to the game drive.
- Wildlife you may see includes:

- Several observation towers allow you to view the park in its entirety.
- Mikumi National Park is primarily miombo woodland with gently rolling hills.
- Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

- After the game drive, depart for the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
- After breakfast, you will begin the day with a cultural visit to a local Maasai village in Mikumi.
- If time allows, we will pass by the local women’s market.
- The Maasai are a well-known traditional tribe in Tanzania and Kenya.
- This trip is optional; those who are in a hurry to return to Zanzibar can opt out of this cultural visit.
- Please inform us during the booking process if you wish to opt out.
- After the visit, you will start your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
- You will arrive back in Dar es Salaam before dark, where you will be dropped off at the hotel of your choice.
