Day 1 Nairobi to Masai Mara

Departure: Depart Nairobi early in the morning. Enjoy a scenic 5-6 hour drive to Masai Mara, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley for breathtaking views.
Arrival: Arrive at Masai Mara around midday, followed by check-in at your lodge or camp.
Lunch: Enjoy a hearty lunch at the lodge.
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the savannah on your first game drive, spotting wildlife including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.
Dinner: Return to your accommodation for dinner, enjoying a selection of local and international cuisine.

Day 2 Full Day in Masai Mara

Start your day with an optional hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara, offering a unique aerial perspective of the wildlife below.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day Big Five game drive, exploring different areas of the reserve to maximize wildlife sightings.
You will have a chance to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes in their natural habitat.
Conclude the day with dinner and relaxation at your camp or lodge.

Day 3 Masai Mara to Nairobi

Just went for 8 day safari with James and Wild Portraits Safaris...it was spot o (Read More)n perfect. Reasons 1.Clear communication and replies always comes very quickly on WhatsApp. 2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality. 3. James is very knowledgeable. 4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious. 5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details. 6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it. 7. Quite flexible and adjusts as things progress.

Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
