Spend the day exploring the vast wilderness of Nyerere National Park, home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, elands, kudus, wildebeests, antelopes, lions, leopards, the rare African wild dog, jackals, and a spectacular array of bird species. A picnic lunch will be provided at a scenic spot, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the park. After an eventful day, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
In the afternoon, at around 3:45 PM, set off on a scenic boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. This sunset cruise provides a chance to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitat. Your guide will also point out unique plant species and explain the significance of the river ecosystem. As the sun sets, enjoy the breathtaking views before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
If accessible, you may also visit a natural hot spring, where you can take a refreshing dip, depending on road conditions. In the afternoon, enjoy a packed lunch before continuing your game drive. Later, you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar, marking the end of your safari adventure.
