Day 1 Arrival in Jaisalmer
  • Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, you will be greeted by our representative.
  • Transfer to the hotel and check in.
  • Spend time at your leisure.
  • Later, visit the Sandstone Fort, Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Ki Haveli, Patwa Ki Haveli, the Thar Heritage Museum, Rani Ka Mahal, Gadisar Lake, and the Sun City, which is part of the fort.
  • Optional: While all seems glorious in this town, there is also an oppressed musician community struggling to keep their ancestral art form alive. The Merasi Music School aims to help the children of this community learn music. Don?t forget to bring some books or anything you would like for the children.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, visit Bada Bagh, the Jain Temple, and the Jaisalmer Museum.
  • Later, explore Kuldhara village and the surrounding ruins.
  • In the evening, drive to the Sam Dunes.
  • Enjoy a special stay in Swiss tents in the heart of the clean Thar Desert ? Sand Dunes.
  • Experience a bonfire at the campsite with an evening cultural show, followed by dinner.

We had a wonderful Rajasthan trip organised by Sun Voyages, especially thanks to (Read More) Sanjay, who planned our itinerary very well. We enjoyed every destination and made beautiful memories as a family with our child. Our driver was also polite, well-behaved and helpful throughout the journey. One of the highlights was the cultural show in Jaisalmer. Although it was the off-season, the performers arranged a wonderful dance and music programme just for us, which made the experience extra special. We would also like to appreciate Sanjay for handling a situation at our last hotel in Udaipur, where a hotel staff member demanded additional cash. Sanjay managed the situation very well and supported us, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend Sun Voyages, especially Sanjay, to our family and friends.
Our main suggestion is regarding hotel selection. Four of the five hotels were s (Read More)atisfactory, but one hotel could have been in better condition. Although the hotel staff were generally polite and well-behaved, we would appreciate more care being taken to select hotels with better maintenance, cleanliness and facilities. Improving the selection of that particular hotel would have made our overall experience even better.

We had a wonderful experience exploring Jaipur, pushkar and Jodhpur. Our driver Kailah and Suraj was excellent, very cooperative, polite, and friendly. He under (Read More)stood our needs and planned the day's travel accordingly, making sure we covered all the places comfortably. The tour coordinator Mr. Sumit was also very supportive and well-organized. He had done a wonderful itinerary. Overall, the service was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Highly recommended for anyone planning a Jaipur tour!
