Day 1 Transfer by Road from JKIA to Abedare National Park
- You will be met at your accommodation in Nairobi or at JKIA airport by our company representative and driver guide.
- A briefing of the tour will be provided before departing for Aberdare National Park.
- The approximate 3-hour drive will take you to the Ark Lodge.
- After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park.
- The park features bamboo forests, rugged terrain, Magura Falls, Chania Falls, deep ravines, and fascinating landmarks such as Kinangop Peak and Ol Donyo Lesatima Peak moorlands.
- The habitats are home to African elephants, buffalo, baboons, lions, leopards, large forest hogs, Sykes monkeys, Colobus monkeys, reedbucks, black rhinos, hyenas, elands, red duikers, African hunting dogs, golden cats, and bongos.
- The park also shelters approximately 250 species of birds.
- You will have dinner and overnight accommodations at the lodge.
Day 2 Transfer by Road from Abedare National Park to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
- After breakfast, you will ascend to the famous Sweetwaters Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
- You will arrive in time for lunch at the camp.
- After lunch, you will begin your exploration by visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by Jane Goodall to provide shelter for orphaned chimps.
- The conservancy is East Africa's largest black rhino sanctuary and is home to two of the world's last remaining northern white rhinos.
- Consisting of grass plains, wooded grasslands, acacia woodland, and evergreen thicket extending over 350 square kilometers, it boasts an astonishing variety of wildlife, including:
- Indigenous chimpanzees
- The Big Five: lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and reticulated giraffe
- Zebras
- Cape buffalo
- Warthogs
- Over 400 bird species
- The conservancy has its own private waterhole and a salt lick, ensuring unparalleled close encounters with wildlife.
- In the late evening, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Transfer by Road from Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Lake Nakuru National Park
- After an early morning breakfast, you will depart for one of Kenya's premium parks, a 4-hour, 180 km drive.
- En route, you will stop to enjoy the breathtaking views at Thompson Falls along Nyahururu.
- You will proceed to arrive at the lodge in time for lunch.
- After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in the park.
- Lake Nakuru is an alkaline lake famous for its pink color.
- Besides being known for flocks of flamingos, it is a sanctuary for endangered black and white rhinos in the country.
- The game drive will take you on the lookout for various wildlife, including:
- warthogs
- monkeys
- lions
- white and black rhinos
- Rothschild giraffes

Day 4 Transfer by Road from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
- After an early breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch.
- The drive takes about 5 hours, covering approximately 265 km.
- Upon arrival at the camp, you will check in, have lunch, and relax.
- Later, you will embark on a thrilling afternoon game drive in the reserve.
- This is a must-visit destination in Kenya, well known for being home to a majority of the wildlife.
- It covers a large area of about 1,510 km², which supports magnificent biodiversity.
- It is most popular for the migration of huge numbers of wildebeests across the Mara River, showcasing the game of life and death posed by their predators to Serengeti.
- You will drive to the lodge where you will check in and have lunch.
- Afterward, you will have an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
- As you explore the vast plains, you may have the opportunity to capture the sunset on camera.
- You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 Maasai Mara National Reserve
- After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in the reserve.
- Maasai Mara Reserve is Kenya's premier destination that you cannot miss.
- You will visit Maasai Bomas, where you will be warmly welcomed.
- Enjoy community dances and the jumping activity.
- Learn about the community's lifestyle.
- The vast savannah grasslands and wide-open plains provide opportunities to see various animals, including:

Day 6 Transfer by Road from Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
- After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake in the Rift Valley.
- You will arrive in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp.
- Lunch is followed by an afternoon boat ride on the lake.
- The driver will assist you in getting the boatman who will take you for the boat ride to Crescent Island.
- You will receive a short briefing from the boatman and driver before proceeding with the ride.
- The boat will take you on a scenic tour of the lake, including a visit to Crescent Island, which is an animal and bird sanctuary on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha.
- A variety of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake area, including Maasai giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, steenboks, impalas, gazelles, and hippos, mostly at night.
- You will spend some time wandering around at your own pace, enjoying the peace and calmness, broken only by the sounds of the island's wild inhabitants.
- At 1700 hours, you will return to where you left your driver and then drive to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 Transfer by Road from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
- After breakfast, you will depart for Amboseli National Park.
- On your way, you will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for scenic views of the escarpment.
- You will also stop at Emali Town Centre.
- The park is famous for its large herds of elephants and clear panoramic views of the highest peak in East Africa.
- You will proceed to Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch.
- In the afternoon, you will enjoy a thrilling game drive in the park.
- You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8 Amboseli National Park
- After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the park.
- The drive will keep you on the lookout for the large herds of elephants and other members of the African Big Five, including:

Trip to Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Amboseli National Park, Nairobi
From the very beginning, Christine and Judith from Donwel Tours were highly attentive to what we were looking to get from our first ever trip to Kenya, and Africa, for that matter. Trip to Kenya
The responsiveness of Christine (person overall responsible for arrangements)and knowledge from Evance (our driver and guide for national parks)about national parks was excellent.
We stayed and covered Nairobi, Masai, Naivasha and Daini.. All stays and safaris were perfect could not have asked for better.
We chose Van but we think land cruiser would have been a better option especially for being comfortable in muddy terrains.
