Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m/4593 ft)
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, where you’ll meet your trekking guide who will prepare you for the upcoming adventure. You can explore Thamel, a vibrant district known for trekking shops, lively cafes, and cultural sites. Overnight stay in a Kathmandu hotel.

Day 2 Drive to Pokhara (800m/2624 ft)
Enjoy a scenic 200 km drive or opt for a short flight to Pokhara, Nepal’s adventure hub. On the way, witness breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. In Pokhara, spend your free time visiting Phewa Lake, Davis Falls, and the serene Peace Pagoda.

Day 3 Drive to Nayapul - Trek to TikheDhunga (1570m/5150 ft)
After a 1.5-hour drive to Nayapul, the trek begins through terraced fields and charming villages like Birethanti. Walk alongside the Modi Khola River to reach Tikhedhunga, where the mountains start to call.

Day 4 Trek to Ghorepani (2850m/9350 ft)
Prepare for a challenging ascent via stone steps to Ulleri (2050m). Pass through enchanting rhododendron forests and small Magar villages, eventually arriving at Ghorepani, a popular trekking stop with stunning Himalayan views.

Day 5 Visit Poon Hill (3210m/10531 ft) - Trek to Tadapani (2550m/8366 ft)
Wake early for a one-hour hike to Poon Hill, one of Nepal’s most famous viewpoints, to witness the sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machapuchare, and Manaslu. After breakfast at Ghorepani, trek through forests and ridges toward Tadapani.

Day 6 Trek to Sinuwa (2310m/7578 ft)
A steep descent through forested trails leads to Chomrong, the last major village before entering the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trek offers striking views of Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) and Annapurna South.

Day 7 Trek to Deurali (3150m/10334 ft)
Cross suspension bridges and walk through lush forests and waterfalls. Along the trail, watch for playful langurs and Himalayan birds before reaching Dobang, a serene resting point surrounded by nature.

Day 8 Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4090m/13418 ft)
Climb above the tree line, enjoying breathtaking glacier and valley views. Reach Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC), with close-up sights of the iconic Fishtail Mountain, before continuing to the stunning Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 9 Trek to Dovan (2600m/8530 ft)
Step into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, a natural amphitheater surrounded by towering peaks. Enjoy the sunset over Annapurna I (8091m), the 10th highest mountain in the world, before trekking down to Dovan.

Day 10 Trek to Chhomrong (2110m/6922 ft)
Descend from MBC, passing Dobang, through lush forests and rugged trails, with panoramic mountain views accompanying you all the way to Chhomrong.

Day 11 Trek to Ghandruk (1940m/6364 ft)
Walk to Jhinu Danda, where you can unwind in the famous natural hot springs by the river — a well-earned break for your legs! Continue onward to the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk.

Day 12 Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara

Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources.
The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel.
Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good.
They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room.
At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves.
We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere.
Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.
