Day 1 Transfer to Negombo
- Arrival at Katunayake Airport
- Navigate through immigration and warmly greet our representative in the arrival lobby, who will present you with beautiful garlands and gifts.
- Transfer to the beach town of Negombo.
- Check into the Negombo Hotel.
- Refresh yourself; later in the evening, proceed to explore Negombo city. You will visit:
- Negombo Dutch Fort
- Angurukaramulla Temple
- St. Mary's Church
- Negombo Fish Market
- Negombo Beach
- Return to the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the Negombo Hotel.
Day 2 Transfer to Anuradhapura via Chilaw
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to Anuradhapura via Chilaw. On the way, visit Muneshwaram Temple, one of the important Pancha Ishwara Hindu temples in Sri Lanka, located in Chilaw (Puttalam District).
- Next, visit Manavari Temple, a significant Hindu temple located 6 km north of Chilaw, revered as the first site where Lord Rama installed a Lingam to invoke blessings.
- Upon arrival in the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a revered pilgrimage center with a history dating back over 23 centuries, you will visit several key sites, including:
- Jaya Sri Mahabodhi
- Ruwanweliseya
- Isurumuniya
- Jetawanaramaya
- Samadhi Buddha Statue
- Sandakada Pahana (Moonstone)
- Kuttam Pokuna (Twin Ponds)
- Thuparamaya Dagoba
- After your explorations, check into your hotel in Anuradhapura.

Day 3 Transfer to Trincomalee
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, transfer to Trincomalee, a port city located on the northeast coast of Sri Lanka. Positioned on a peninsula, Fort Frederick was built by the Portuguese in the 17th century.
- Upon arrival in Trincomalee, you will explore the area, including visits to the following sites:
- Shankari Devi Shakti Peeth Temple: This revered Hindu temple is one of the 18 Ashtadasha Shakti Peethas dedicated to Goddess Shakti. It is situated atop a hill next to the Koneswaram Temple and is believed to be the location where the groin (or anklet) of Goddess Sati fell.
- Thirukoneshwaram Temple: Also known as Koneswaram Temple, this classical-medieval temple complex is considered a significant Hindu pilgrimage center in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka. It is famous for its Thousand Pillars.
- Fort Frederick: This historical site dates back to the Portuguese era.
- Lovers Leap: A scenic viewpoint offering a beautiful panorama of the surroundings.
- Trincomalee City Area: Explore the vibrant city and its attractions.
- Later, visit the Kinniya Hot Water Spring Wells. The Kanniya Hot Springs consist of seven wells arranged in a square. These wells are shallow, with depths ranging from 0.91 to 1.22 meters, allowing you to see the bottom clearly. The water temperatures are considerably high and vary from one spring to another.
- After your explorations, check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Trincomalee.
Day 4 Transfer to Sigiriya
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, transfer to Sigiriya, with a visit to Sigiriya Lion?s Rock along the way.
- Once the visit is complete, check into the Sigiriya Hotel.
- After freshening up, proceed to the Sigiriya Village Tour. This tour offers a unique and immersive experience, allowing you to connect deeply with the nature and culture of traditional Sri Lankan lifestyle.
- Upon completion of the village tour, transfer to Pidurangala Rock for a climb. Pidurangala Rock is a massive volcanic outcrop located near Sigiriya, providing panoramic views of the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is popular for sunrise and sunset hikes, featuring a moderate 30- to 45-minute climb through a temple and rocky terrain. This location is less crowded and more affordable than Sigiriya.
- Later, transfer back to the Sigiriya Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Sightseeing around Sigiriya
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Later, proceed to explore Dambulla. You will visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. The visit includes the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Golden Temple Complex.
- After the visit, return to the hotel.
- In the evening, proceed to explore Minneriya National Park. This park, located in Sri Lanka's North Central Province, is famous for "The Gathering," an event where hundreds of wild Asian elephants congregate around the 3rd-century Minneriya Reservoir, especially from July to September.
- After exploring the park, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at the Sigiriya Hotel.
Day 6 Transfer to Kandy
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to Kandy. On the way, visit the Spice Garden Matale, which provides insights into the cultivation and processing of spices, highlighting their culinary and medicinal uses.
- Nalanda Gedige, an ancient complete stone temple near Matale, Sri Lanka. Its original site is considered the geographical center of Sri Lanka. The building was constructed between the 8th and 10th centuries in Dravidian architecture and is believed to have been used by Buddhists.
- Upon arrival in Kandy, visit Kandy View Point, Kandy Lake, the Gem Museum, and enjoy a Kandy cultural dance show. This show features energetic Kandyan dances and graceful low country performances, offering an unforgettable journey through Sri Lanka?s ancient rituals, folklore, and rhythm.
- After the tour, check into the Kandy hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 7 Sightseeing at Kandy
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, proceed to explore Kandy City. Your first stop will be the Temple of the Tooth Relic, known as Sri Dalada Maligawa. This UNESCO World Heritage Site houses the left upper canine tooth of Lord Buddha and serves as a premier pilgrimage destination. The temple features ornate, golden-roofed architecture, hosts daily traditional ceremonies, and is the focal point of the annual Esala Perahera procession, which holds great spiritual and national significance.
- Next, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, renowned for its extensive collection of orchids. The gardens boast over 4,000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees.
- Then, head to the Nelligala Buddhist Monastery. The Nelligala International Buddhist Center is a serene spiritual retreat that offers a blend of meditation, teachings, and cultural immersion. This peaceful space is ideal for individuals seeking inner peace, mindfulness, and Buddhist wisdom.
- After your activities, return to the hotel for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in Kandy.
Day 8 Transfer to Nuwara Eliya
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Transfer to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit the Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple, an important Hanuman temple in Sri Lanka located at the summit of a picturesque mountain. It is believed to be the site where Lord Hanuman rested during his journey to find Sita. The temple was built by the Chinmaya Mission and consecrated in 2001.
- Next, visit the nearby Ramboda Waterfalls. After that, take a break at the Labukelle Tea Factory. A visit typically includes a guided factory tour, tea tasting, and time at the estate's tea center and café, which serves freshly brewed tea and local snacks.
- Check into your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
- After refreshing yourself, explore Nuwara Eliya City. You will visit the Old Post Office, a landmark from the British era. Built in 1894, the Nuwara Eliya Post Office is situated in the heart of "Little England." This two-story, Tudor-style building features a red brick facade, a clock tower, and a steep roof, all designed to withstand the cold climate. It remains operational and preserves its colonial heritage.
- Next, visit Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, and the Sita Amman Temple. The Seetha Amman Temple, also known as Ashok Vatika or Seethai Amman Thirukkovil, is a Vaishnavite Hindu temple located in the Nuwara Eliya District of Central Sri Lanka. The temple's folklore is deeply connected to the Hindu epic, the Ramayana.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 9 Transfer to Mirissa via Ella
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, you will transfer to Mirissa, with a stop in Ella.
- Upon reaching Ella, you will visit the Nine Arches Bridge, also known as the Bridge in the Sky. This viaduct is a prime example of colonial-era railway construction and is one of the most picturesque spots in Sri Lanka.
- Next, you will stop at Ravana Falls, one of the widest waterfalls in Sri Lanka. The falls cascade dramatically from the hills, creating a refreshing mist and offering a spectacular photo opportunity.
- Once you arrive in Mirissa, you will have the chance to explore Mirissa Coconut Hills, Parrot Island, and the secret beach at Mirissa.
- After your day of exploration, check into your hotel in Mirissa.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Transfer to Bentota
- Early Morning Itinerary: At 5:30 AM, prepare for the whale and dolphin watching safari. Whale and dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most exciting activities you can experience during your holiday in Sri Lanka. Blue whales, the largest animals in the world, are often spotted here, making Mirissa the best location for these tours.
- The whale watching season in Mirissa runs from November to April, although sightings can occur from May to October; however, the ocean conditions may be rougher during those months. You will be dropped off at Mirissa Harbor by 6:00 AM. Board your designated boat and sail into the deep sea for 2-3 hours. On board, complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided.
- After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel to check out.
- Following this, you will journey to Bentota, with stops along the way to see the Ahangama stilt fishermen, Thalpe swing rope, and Dalawella turtle beach.
- Upon arrival in Bentota, check into your hotel.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 11 Bentota Sightseeing
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Enjoy a leisurely morning at the hotel before exploring Bentota.
- First, you will visit Rumassala, which is believed to be one of the five "Sanjeevani drops." According to legend, these are fragments of the Himalayan mountain dropped by Lord Hanuman while he was carrying them to heal Lakshmana in the Ramayana. Rumassala is located near Unawatuna in southern Sri Lanka.
- Next, you will visit the Galle Dutch Fort. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of Sri Lanka's most iconic landmarks and is a true gem along the island's southern coast.
- After exploring the fort, you will embark on the Madu River Boat Safari. Here, you will discover the allure of the Madu River as you glide through mangrove forests, spot exotic wildlife, explore hidden islands, learn about cinnamon production, visit fish farms, and check out ancient temples while embracing the local culture on this unforgettable boat safari.
- Finally, you will visit the Ahungalle Sea Turtle Farm before returning to the hotel.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 12 Transfer to Colombo
- Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
- Spend the morning relaxing at Bentota Beach.
- Afterward, transfer to Colombo for a city exploration tour. You will visit:
- Gangaramaya Temple: One of the most prominent Buddhist temples in Colombo, Gangaramaya Temple houses an extensive collection of artifacts. Located in the bustling inner city near the picturesque Beira Lake, this temple complex is a major tourist attraction and a sacred place of worship.
- Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple: Dedicated to Lord Hanuman in his Panchamuga form (meaning five faces), this temple is also located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is believed that Swamy Chandrashekar built the first Hanuman temple in Sri Lanka, known as Sri Panchamukha Anjaneyar Temple.
