After a late lunch, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight in Naivasha.

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive or cycling tour in Hell's Gate National Park. Then, drive to Amboseli National Park, where you’ll check in to your camp and relax. If the weather permits, enjoy stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro at sunset.

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, home to large herds of elephants and a variety of bird species. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Emali/Nairobi to catch your train to Mombasa. Upon arrival, transfer to your beach resort for check-in and relaxation. Enjoy the resort’s facilities, with dinner and overnight at the hotel.

I was a bit hesitant to book with Samson Safaris at first due to some mixed reviews online, but they truly exceeded my expectations. There was a minor issue with the accommodation, but they handled it (Read More) quickly and even upgraded me to a luxury camp at no extra cost. I had an amazing time in the Maasai Mara and Nairobi—everything was well organized and memorable. I'm really glad I chose them!

Samson Safaris asked me to cancel my online booking and send money directly to them “to save on fees.” It felt shady, but I trusted them. Big mistake. After paying, communication dropped, and I got do (Read More)wngraded to a camp far below what I was promised. It’s hard not to call that fraud

We saw a ton of wildlife. The guide was knowledgable about what we were seeing and also his own culture, the Maasai people. He taught us songs and Swahili words. He went out of his way to get us clo (Read More)se to the animals. He had wi-fi in his vehicle which was nice. We intentionally used a company that was locally owned so our investment in this experience stayed in the country. Samson's Safari coordinators, Stacey and Kimani, were responsive during our safari by WhatsApp. The lodging they assisted us in selecting for this private safari was good to excellent as was the food. I would have given it a 5 star review except for the fact that our guide was often late to pick us up when we'd made the extra effort to rise at 5 AM for the meeting time he'd specified. This lax approach continued even after we'd emphasized our expectations for promptness to him and his bosses. If he got behind on the schedule he just said he'd add a certain site tomorrow, but in reality there would not be enough time on that day for an additional stop. Time management seemed to be a problem for this guide. Also, he'd make changes without consulting us. We took to following his chosen route on our own map apps and more than once we had to direct him to the destination. One time he didn't have enough money to pay for our park entrance and asked one of us to cover. The Land Cruiser he drove had least three seatbelts that didn't work, two of them in the second row, the easiest place to get in and out from and which had the best view of our surroundings. After so many complaints the management drove over 3 hours to our location to dine with us (because I think they were concerned about our complaints) AND they had added a complimentary hippo cruise to our schedule the next day as compensation. But in reality, they didn't ask us what WE wanted, did we want to dine with them, nor about adding something to our already packed schedule. We simply couldn't have done the cruise without missing the experiences we had deliberately chosen. Also we wanted to have a family dinner, not an uncomfortable group dinner with them that they hadn't arranged with us in the first place. It was awkward.

Samson’s offers excellent and consistent communication. They kindly rescheduled my Nairobi National Park short tour after I had booked for the wrong day. Excellent communication and customer service. (Read More) The driver and vehicle used left something to be desired, though. The tour description mentions that water is provided, and there would be moments to listen to birds and hyenas at sunset. The driver did not offer any water and we were rushing at 60km/h inhaling dust to make it back to the park gate at sunset time. I feel that the driver could have timed things a bit better and offered a bit more customer experience, particularly at this very high price point.
