Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative will be waiting to greet you with a placard displaying your name. You will then be transferred to your designated hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Nepalese cuisine, offering an introduction to the country’s rich food culture.

After breakfast, we will have a pre-trip meeting where you will be introduced to your guide and can ask any questions about the journey ahead.
We then embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful city known for its stunning lakes and mountain views. After arrival, you can take a rest and enjoy a relaxing stroll around the serene Phewa Lake.

After breakfast, we take a short drive to Nayapul, where the trek begins. Passing through Birethanti, we ascend towards Ghandruk, a picturesque Gurung village in the Modi Khola Valley. The village offers breathtaking views of the Annapurna Massif. If time permits, we will visit the Gurung Museum.

We start with a climb to Kimrung Danda, followed by a steep descent to Kimrong Khola. The trail offers stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). A final ascent leads us to Chomrong, where we stay overnight.

We descend 2,500 stone steps and cross a suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola. A steep uphill climb takes us to Sinuwa, followed by a pleasant walk through forests leading to Kuldihar and then a descent to Bamboo, where we stay the night.

We ascend gradually through a dense bamboo forest. As we continue, the forest clears near Himalaya Hotel, revealing stunning views of the glacial river below. The trail leads past Hinku Cave, descends closer to the river, and then climbs again to reach Deurali, where we stay overnight.

A gentle ascent through a riverbed leads to Bagar, followed by a steeper climb to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). From MBC, the views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, and Hiunchuli are spectacular. Continuing on, we enter Annapurna Sanctuary, where the valley opens up, providing panoramic 360-degree views of the surrounding peaks. We stay the night at Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m).

We retrace our steps, descending through the sanctuary back to Bamboo. Though we leave behind the views of ABC, the surrounding landscapes continue to amaze. We stay overnight in Bamboo.

We begin with an ascent to Kuldighar, followed by a descent to Chhomrong Khola. After climbing stone steps back to Chhomrong, we descend to Jhinu Danda. Here, we have the opportunity to relax in natural hot springs, just a short 20-25 minute walk from the village, providing much-needed relief for tired muscles.

After enjoying a morning coffee with stunning mountain views, we take a short hike down to Samrung, where we begin our drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, we celebrate the success of our trek with a farewell dinner.

Our journey comes to an end today. A representative will drop you off at the airport in a private vehicle for your departure.

They were unable to provide us with transportation as they already had prior boo (Read More)kings, so we had to arrange transport through other sources. The resort and hotels were good; however, at the time of booking, they had mentioned that the property in Pokhara would have a swimming pool. In reality, there was no swimming pool, and it was not even a resort but actually a hotel. Nevertheless, the overall stay arrangement was satisfactory.
Except for Siddhartha Riverside, the food at all other hotels and resorts in Nep (Read More)al was not good. They did not even have the basic courtesy to provide drinking water in the room. At the time of check-in, two bottles of water were provided, but the next morning when we asked for a refill, they said refills are only done after 12:00 PM. If we needed water before that, we had to purchase it ourselves. We have traveled extensively around the world, but we have never experienced such dry and unaccommodating behavior anywhere. Refilling drinking water is a very basic courtesy that hotels and resorts should provide.
