Day 1 Arrive Jaipur – Local City Tour
- Morning arrival in Jaipur by train or flight. Our driver will receive you from Jaipur Airport or the railway station and transfer you to the hotel.
- Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, is popularly known as the "Pink City" due to the pink sandstone used to construct the buildings in the old walled city.
- Rest for a while, then in the afternoon, visit the following attractions in Jaipur:
- Maharaja's City Palace
- The Observatory (Jantar Mantar)
- Sheesh Mahal
- Hawa Mahal – Stop for photos
- Jantar Mantar
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 2 Jaipur - Forts & Heritage Tour
- After breakfast, we will proceed for sightseeing of Forts & Heritage in Jaipur.

- Panna Meena Ka Kund: A historic stepwell built in the 16th century during the reign of the Maharajas of Amber. It was used by locals for water storage and as a community gathering place. Over the years, Panna Meena Ka Kund has become an integral part of Jaipur's cultural landscape.
- Gaitor Ki Chhatriya: Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan is a scenic royal crematorium near the foothills of Nahargarh Fort in Jaipur. It is popular due to its beautifully carved “chhatris,” which are cenotaphs. Historically, this was a resting place for the Kachwaha Rajput kings of Jaipur and features a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles. The intricate designs, serene ambience, and panoramic views make Gaitor Ki Chhatriyan attractive to those interested in exploring Jaipur’s rich regal past and architectural heritage.

Day 3 Jaipur – Jodhpur (5 Hrs. drive)
- After an early breakfast, we drive to Jodhpur, the "Blue City."
- Arrive and check in at the hotel.
- Afternoon local city sightseeing tour including:

- Phool Mahal
- Jaswant Thada
- Umaid Bhawan Palace
- Mehrangarh Fort is one of the best forts in India, featuring exquisitely latticed windows, carved panels, and elaborately adorned walls of Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal. A collection of musical instruments, palanquins, royal costumes, furniture, and cannons on the fort’s ramparts are well preserved. Mehrangarh Fort holds a place of pride in Jodhpur due to its splendid architecture and the diverse history associated with it. Considered one of the most formidable and magnificent forts of Rajasthan, Mehrangarh Fort was built by Rao Jodha in 1459.
- Jaswant Thada was built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in commemoration of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The main memorial is designed like a temple, featuring beautiful domes and finely carved sculptures. Visitors can view beautiful portraits of the various rulers of Jodhpur.

Day 4 Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (Approx. 5 Hrs. Drive)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Visit Mandore Garden, which features:
- Grand royal cenotaphs (chhatris) built in red sandstone
- The rock-cut Hall of Heroes
- The temple of 330 million gods
- As the ancient capital of Marwar before Jodhpur, Mandore Garden blends lush gardens with rich heritage, unique architecture, and large troops of resident langurs.
- Later, drive to Jaisalmer, also known as "Sun City," a shimmering mirage in the Thar Desert and an important tourist destination in Rajasthan.
- The city was named after its founder, Maharawal Jaisal Singh, a Rajput king.
- Jaisalmer is also referred to as "The Golden City" due to the yellow sand and sandstone used in its structures, giving it a golden yellow appearance.
- Upon arrival at Sam Dunes, check in to the Desert Camp with refreshments and welcome drinks.
- Head for a camel ride to explore the majestic dunes during sunset.
- Return to the camp for snacks and sunset tea.
- Enjoy Rajasthani folk music and a cultural dance show at the camp.
- Dine on a traditional Rajasthani buffet dinner under the stars.

Day 5 Jaisalmer Sightseeing

- Kuldhara Village: An abandoned ghost village near Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, that was mysteriously deserted overnight in the early 19th century.

We had a wonderful Rajasthan trip organised by Sun Voyages, especially thanks to (Read More) Sanjay, who planned our itinerary very well. We enjoyed every destination and made beautiful memories as a family with our child. Our driver was also polite, well-behaved and helpful throughout the journey.
One of the highlights was the cultural show in Jaisalmer. Although it was the off-season, the performers arranged a wonderful dance and music programme just for us, which made the experience extra special.
We would also like to appreciate Sanjay for handling a situation at our last hotel in Udaipur, where a hotel staff member demanded additional cash. Sanjay managed the situation very well and supported us, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would definitely recommend Sun Voyages, especially Sanjay, to our family and friends.
Our main suggestion is regarding hotel selection. Four of the five hotels were s (Read More)atisfactory, but one hotel could have been in better condition. Although the hotel staff were generally polite and well-behaved, we would appreciate more care being taken to select hotels with better maintenance, cleanliness and facilities. Improving the selection of that particular hotel would have made our overall experience even better.
