Walks, Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park Overview

The Uluru - Kata Tjuta area is an amazing place for hikers, as it offers a plethora of brilliant trails and bushwalks.

Among the most favourite thing to do for visitors in the National Park, bushwalks and hikes around Uluru are amazingly beautiful. The walk around the base of Uluru itself is a wonderful way to acquaint yourself with the flora and fauna of the region, as well as the unique characteristics that the rocks of the monolith have. Other walks at Uluru include the Mala Walk, the scenic Mala to Kantju Gorge Walk, the super intriguing Lungkata Walk, and a few more. The Kata Tjuta rocks have a great variety of walks on offer as well. This includes the Dune Viewing area, offering spectacular views of domed rocks. The Valley of the Winds walk is another super famous walk, with three different checkpoints depending on the time you have and the difficulty of the walk you want to try. Also, definitely try and catch the sunset on both of these rocks, as it makes for spectacular viewing.
