Chandrashila, Rudra Prayag Overview
Another 1.5 km trek from Tungnath and you will reach a place called Chandrashila, an epitome of beauty and bounty of nature. The trekking trail is not a proper path but enough marking to walk on.
This place is also considered sacred as it is believed that Lord Rama meditated at this very peak. One will also find a small temple on the top of the peak and exquisite sights of nature all around.
