Doodh Wala Khuan, Nanakmatta Overview
This place has a very fascinating legend attached to it. Located near Nanakmatta Gurudwara, Doodh Wala Khuan means Well of Milk. The story goes as when Bhai Mardana expressed Nanakji about his wish for milk, Nanakji suggested him to ask from Yogis for their large number of cows they owned.
However, the Yogis turned down his request insulting him to ask it from his guru. Nanakji, then with the help of his spiritual powers drew all the milk from the Yogi's cows and stocked it in well. This place is now established as Doodh Wala Khuan.
