Q. I am travelling wih my mates to Kodaikanal and we are looking for some nice trekking trails and rest houses. Suggestions?

You can trek to Dolphin's nose, which is around 8km from Kodaikanal and then trek on from there to Kumabakarai, which is around another 12 km. The reverse trek however takes more time and is a little (Read More) more difficult. Or you could ride till Vattakanal in a jeep and start your trek from Dolphin's nose.

Bangalore - Salem - Dindigul - Kodai Road - Kodaikanal route is pretty good, except for a few rough patches here and there. You can go for it. It will take you about 7.5-8 hours
