Coronation Bridge

Coronation Bridge, Jaldhaka Overview

The Coronation bridge is about 100 km away, but this unique bridge is a treat to see. The bridge was built in 1937, to commemorate the coronation of King George, the sixth, and Queen Elizabeth.

The bridge, also known as Sevoke Bridge, is built across River Teesta. The 2 km long bridge can be crossed both on foot and by car. But it's best if you get down and take a walk here. The foundation stone of the bridge was laid down by John Anderson, the then Governor General of Bengal.
