The International Flower Show is held in Gangtok every year. The International Flower Festival, organised by the Government of Sikkim, is celebrated in the northeast Indian state of Sikkim. The exhibition of flowers, which is the centre of attraction of the festival, takes place in the Flower Exhibition Centre or near the White Hall Complex in the capital city of the state,  Gangtok.

The International Flower Festival held in the Gangtok city of the northeast Indian state of Sikkim is a joyful celebration for people of all kinds of varied interests and affinities. An exhibition of different species of flowers is organised in the Flower Exhibition Centre near the White Hall Complex. There are over thirty species of rhododendron, six hundred species of orchids in total, and around 250 different species of plants, trees and ferns that are put on display. The beauty of the festival lies among these diverse floras that are the centre of attraction for visitors from across the country. A large section of the orchid is the growth of the state of Sikkim itself. 

The Food Festival
Along with the display of numerous varieties of flowers, a food festival is also organised alongside it. People can indulge in locally prepared food that remains one of the traits of the identity of the cultural beauty of the place.

Apart from these, the mountainous region of the Himalayas is always open for adventurous sports and journeys.
