Royal Gallery of Saint Hubert, Brussels Overview

The Royal Gallery of Saint Huber is one of Europe’s oldest and most elegant covered shopping arcades. This 230-meter-long glass-covered shopping street offers a safe exploration of cafes, theatres, libraries, elegant chocolate stops, and luxury shopping stores, especially on a rainy day. Most of these establishments are high-end. but there are some affordable dining options and gift shops. Located on a short walk from the Grand Place, it is mostly visited for its exquisite glass ceiling, arched windows, and ornamental details.

This gorgeous gallery is roofed with an arched glass pane and iron framework. A one-of-a-kind shopping experience with historic surroundings and cultural spaces. This iconic Renaissance-style structure comprises three sections: the Queen’s Gallery, King’s Gallery, and Princes’ Gallery.  Opened in 1847 by King Leopold I, the arcade has historical significance as it was built to provide a sophisticated shopping destination for Belgium's rising bourgeois class. The arcade is open 24/7, but individual shops and restaurants have varying operating hours. Plan for 1–2 hours to explore the shops and enjoy the ambiance.
