Botero Museum, Bogota Overview
Called as Museo Botero by the locals, the museum is a gigantic building which has huge exhibitions of paintings, art and sculptures, often leaving its visitors spell bound.
The massive halls housed in the museum beautifully showcases the famous works of the Columbian artist, Fernando Botero. The innumerable paintings on humans, daily lifestyle of Columbia and even the government leaders are remarkable and priceless. In addition to the works by Botero, the museum also contains some of the greatest masterpieces of Picasso, Chagall, Renoir, Monet among many others.
