Mankameshwar Temple, Allahabad Overview
Situated on the banks of river Yamuna, in the vicinity of Saraswati Ghat in Allahabad, Mankameshwar Temple is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Enshrined by the shivalinga in the form of Shiva, the temple attracts hundreds of pilgrims especially on Mondays as they conduct the 'Shiva Pooja' on this day.
Navratri is also a wonderful time to visit the temple, but it can be massively crowded. You could also carry some milk and flowers as an offering to the idol here. The Pradusha Pooja is carried out every Saturday.
