What does an Andaman tour package include?

October to May is the best time to visit Andaman. November to February has the most pleasant weather. March to May is hotter, but the sea is calm and clear, which is ideal for scuba diving and snorkelling.
How many days are enough for Andaman? Can I cover it in 3 or 4 days?
5 to 6 days is ideal to cover Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Swaraj Dweep (Havelock) and Shaheed Dweep (Neil) at a comfortable pace.
In 3 to 4 days you can cover Port Blair and Havelock, but a good part of the trip goes in ferry travel. Add 1 or 2 days for Baratang Island or more diving.
How do I reach Andaman, and what is the cheapest way?
Flying is the easiest way. Veer Savarkar International Airport in Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair) has direct or one-stop flights from most major Indian cities, including Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Delhi.
Ships from Chennai, Kolkata and Visakhapatnam cost less, but the journey takes around 3 days each way and sailings are infrequent. For most travellers, booking flights early is the best value.
How do ferries work between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil?
Ferries connect Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair), Swaraj Dweep (Havelock) and Shaheed Dweep (Neil). Private ferries such as Makruzz, Nautika and Green Ocean take about 1.5 to 2.5 hours and are faster and more comfortable. Government ferries are cheaper but slower and sell out quickly.
Most packages include ferry tickets. Check which ferry type is included, and book early in peak season.
