Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Jammu and Transfer to Katra
  • Arrive in Jammu in the morning.
  • Meet and get assistance on arrival.
  • Proceed straight to Katra by car which is around 40 km from Jammu city.
  • Arrive in Katra and check in at the hotel.
  • Spend the day at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Katra.
  • In the early morning, proceed to Vaishnodevi Shrine (approx. 13 km trek).
  • One can trek up to the Shrine if the fitness permits; otherwise, pony or palanquins are available at an extra cost. You can also take a helicopter that is available until Sanjhi Chat (2 km before Bhawan).
  • Arrive at Vaishnodevi Bhawan.
  • Wash and change before the darshan.
  • After Mata Vaishnodevi Darshan, proceed for Bhaironji Darshan (optional).
  • Return to the hotel in Katra.
  • Overnight stay at Katra.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Jammu.
  • Arrive in Jammu and explore this beautiful capital of Jammu & Kashmir state.
  • Free time for shopping.
  • Later transfer to Jammu airport/railway station for your onward journey with sweet memories.

To be honest the services offered were really good and best thing was it was completely hassle free. We got experienced driver and on time checkins and the hotels referred were good with nice location (Read More)s, food and services offered by them. We booked the trip to dharamshala, Dalhousie n Amritsar with country travel point coordinated by Harsha mam....iternity was good ....great coordination was done .... Except the hotel at mcleodganj all (Read More) hotels were nice....cab driver was very helpful....the trip was very nice and thanks to Harsha mam for coordinating throughout the journey
