Day 1 Guwahati Airport/ Station to Shergaon
  • Transfer to Shergaon, known for its agricultural products like apples, kiwis, peaches, and maize.
  • Afternoon free for leisure.
  • Overnight stay in Shergaon.
  • Post breakfast, visit the village and explore Zengbu Gompa, Choskorong Waterfall, and the Sherdukpen tribe.
  • Drive to Dirang (80 km / 2 to 3 hours approx).
  • Reach Dirang and check in.
  • Overnight stay in Dirang.
  • After breakfast, visit Mandala Top for bird watching (early morning is preferable).
  • Drive to Khastung Gompa, one of the oldest monasteries (approximately 6 km from Dirang).
  • Visit TDL Monastery for panoramic views.
  • Overnight stay in Dirang.
  • Post breakfast, drive to Tawang (160 km / 6 to 7 hours approx).
  • Stop at Themband Heritage Village (Dirang Dzong).
  • Proceed to Tawang, the land of Monpa Tribes and a major center for Mahayana Buddhism.
  • Cross Se La Pass (13,700 ft) and visit Se La Lake.
  • Visit Jaswantgarh Memorial dedicated to a brave soldier from the 1962 Chinese aggression.
  • Arrive in Tawang and check into the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Tawang.
  • After breakfast, visit Bumla Pass (India-China Border) and PTSO Lake.
  • Explore Madhuri Lake (Sangetsar Lake) and Pangateng Tso Lake.
  • Return to Tawang and visit the local market for handicrafts and souvenirs.

  • Visit Jung Waterfalls enroute.
  • Arrive in Bomdila, explore Bomdila Monastery, and enjoy the picturesque views.
  • Overnight stay in Bomdila.



Bomdila: It is a small town that is the headquarters of the West Kameng district. Set amongst the mighty Himalayas at an altitude of 2530m above sea level it gives the most picturesque view. The sight of the snow-clad mountains, the landscape from the highest point, and the Nechipu Pass is just enchanting and indescribable.

  • Early breakfast and set off for Guwahati.
  • Drive through Rupa and Tenga Valley, with the Jia Bhoroli River alongside.
  • Visit Bhalukpong, Lumun Waterfall, and Tipi Orchidarium.

What's Good: Professional services
What's Not Good: Hotels in manali could have been better. Also, hotels should provide both North Indian and South Indian cuisine. Hotel in Manali (Read More)didn't even have a First Aid kit which is thought off as a must in hotels.

What's Good: Followup by tour operator was good. Hotel accommodation was also good and comfortable
What's Not Good: Did not provide vehicle as promised but charged for the same extra (Read More)for Nathula pass which caused lot of discomfort to us since all 4 of us are senior citizens . On other days vehicles provided were in good condition and no issue with them
