Day 1 Arrival at Gangtok
  • On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, a representative will meet and assist with transfer to Gangtok.
  • Check-in to hotel and relax.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, start for journey to Tshangu Lake.
  • Spend the day exploring the region.
  • Return to Gangtok for overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Darjeeling.
  • In the afternoon go for a half-day sight seeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing & Gombu Rock and Tea Estate.
  • Overnight stay at hotel.
  • Embark on an early morning tour to Tiger Hills to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak.
  • On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
  • After breakfast, proceed to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for onward journey.

He guided me well throughout the trip, which made the whole experience stress-free. Our driver, Naresh, also deserves a mention—he was polite, punctual, and made sure all our local transportation was comfortable and hassle-free. Thanks to both of them, moving from one place to another was very easy for me and my family. The itinerary designed by Umang Travel was well thought out, covering all the major attractions at a comfortable pace, without feeling rushed.
