Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station - Gangtok

Our representative will be there to receive you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra (IXB).
You will be assisted with the transfer to Gangtok.
Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, offers a range of experiences from tranquility to adventure.
It is known for its monasteries, mystic rituals, and festivals, situated at an altitude of 1,670 meters (5,480 feet).
Gangtok is one of the most beautiful towns in India, featuring a variety of rhododendrons, orchids, and butterflies.
The distance is nearly 120 kilometers, with a drive time of approximately 4 hours.
Check into the hotel.
Evening free to explore MG Road (Mall) or the local shopping center.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

Lake & Baba Mandir, nearly 40 kilometers and a 2-hour drive away.
Situated at an elevation of 3,753 meters (12,310 feet).
The lake is oval-shaped and nearly 50 feet deep.
Generally covered in snow for most of the year.
This lake is home to Brahmini ducks and many migratory birds.
Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir, known to be a very holy site for all.
Return to Gangtok.
Evening free to roam around M.G. Road (mall) or the local shopping center.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.
In case of bad weather conditions, landslides, or political movements from STDC, Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir may be closed.

Day 3 Gangtok Local Sightseeing (Half Day) - Transfer to Darjeeling

Day 4 Darjeeling Sunrise From Tiger Hill & Local Sightseeing

Early morning drive at around 3:45 AM to an altitude of 8,000 feet (2,440 meters) through primitive forests of oak and magnolia to Tiger Hill to view the sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).
On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace Memorial, and Batasia Loop.
Return to the hotel.
Afterward, enjoy a half-day city tour that includes:

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday)
Ropeway
Tensing Gumpo Rock
Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (closed on Sunday)
