Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Gangtok
- Pick up from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport by our representative and transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival check-in to the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is 55 kms from Gangtok city.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3 Gangtok – Lachung (116 kms / 6 hrs)
- After breakfast, pickup from the hotel and drive to Lachung.
- Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Waterfalls.
- Arrival at Lachung by evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4 Lachung to Yumthang Valley Excursion
- After breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (also known as Valley of Flowers).
- On the way back, visit Hot Spring which are considered to have medicinal properties.
- Head back to the resort for lunch.
- Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5 Lachung to Gangtok
- After breakfast, depart for Gangtok.
- Enroute witness the wonderful Bheem and Twin Waterfalls.
- On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 Gangtok Local Sightseeing and Transfer to Pelling
- After breakfast, start for a half day trip to Gangtok city.
- Visit Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry, Handicraft Centre, Flower Show, Dro-drul Chorten and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
- In the afternoon, head to Pelling.
- On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7 Pelling Sightseeing
- After breakfast, prepare for a full day sightseeing of Pelling.
- Visit Darap village, Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi Waterfalls and Khecheopalri Lake.
- In the afternoon, head to Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and New Helipad Ground.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 8 Pelling to Darjeeling
- After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling.
- On arrival, check-in to hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 9 Darjeeling Sightseeing
- Early morning (at 4.00 AM) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
- On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
- After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 10 Departure from Darjeeling
- After breakfast, check-out from the hotel on time.
- Drop to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

Communication Gap, lot of follow-up required to get things done before Trip.

Right from the beginning, the arrangements were smooth and well-coordinated. I was in touch with Mohit, who handled everything very patiently and was always available whenever I needed any support. He guided me well throughout the trip, which made the whole experience stress-free.
Our driver, Naresh, also deserves a mention—he was polite, punctual, and made sure all our local transportation was comfortable and hassle-free. Thanks to both of them, moving from one place to another was very easy for me and my family.
The itinerary designed by Umang Travel was well thought out, covering all the major attractions at a comfortable pace, without feeling rushed. Everything was organized in such a way that we could truly enjoy the beauty of Andaman and Nicobar without worrying about the small details.
