Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival – Transfer to Darjeeling via Mirik Lake
- Arrival at NJP and transfer to Darjeeling via Mirik Lake and Seemana Bazar (Nepal Border). This route takes you through breathtaking tea plantations.
- Our representative will receive you, and we will start our journey to Darjeeling (85 km, approx. 3 hours).
- Darjeeling, situated at an elevation of 2,123 meters, is known for its mesmerizing beauty, rolling tea gardens, and views of Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga, and the Eastern Himalayas.
- Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel. In the evening, you are free to explore Mall Road and the local market.
Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing (Morning 3:30 AM)
- Early morning visit to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga.
- On the way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
- After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Peace Pagoda, and Tibetan Refugee Center.
- Toy Train & Ropeway ride at own cost.
Day 3 Darjeeling to Gangtok Transfer
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Gangtok via Lover’s Meet View Point and Peshok Tea Garden.
- On arrival, check into the hotel.
- Evening free for leisure.
Day 4 Gangtok to Lachen
- After breakfast, drive to Lachen (9,400 ft., 118 km).
- En route, visit Seven Sister Waterfalls, Naga Falls, and Singhik View Point.
- Lunch at a local restaurant on the way (not included in the package).
- Check-in at the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 5 Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung
- Early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (17,000 ft.), one of the highest lakes in North Sikkim.
- The altitude may cause breathing difficulties, so be cautious.
- Return to the hotel, have lunch, and leave for Lachung.
- En route, visit Bhim Nala Falls.
- Optional: Kala Patthar at own cost (₹4,000 per vehicle).
Day 6 Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion – Gangtok
- After breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley (11,800 ft.), also known as the Valley of Flowers.
- Return to the hotel, have lunch, and leave for Gangtok.
- Optional: Zero Point at own cost (₹4,000 per vehicle).
Day 7 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
- Visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), a high-altitude lake sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists.
- Proceed to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir (13,200 ft.), dedicated to an Indian Army soldier who is believed to protect the region even after his death.
- If Tsomgo Lake is closed due to government restrictions, alternate sightseeing will be arranged.
- Optional: Nathula Pass at own cost (₹5,000 per vehicle, closed on Monday & Tuesday).
Day 8 Gangtok to Pelling Transfer
- After breakfast, transfer to Pelling.
- Pelling is a small town in Sikkim, known for its stunning views of Mount Khangchendzonga and historical sites like Sanga Choling Monastery, Pemayangtse Monastery, and Rabdentse Palace ruins.
Day 9 Pelling Sightseeing
- Visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Rock Garden, and Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred lake believed to fulfill wishes.
- Visit Khecheopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and Pelling Skywalk.
- Stay in Pelling.
Day 10 Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri via Melli, enjoying beautiful mountain views.

Excellent Travel Experience with Krishna Travels DMC
We visited North Sikkim (Read More)and Darjeeling for 6 nights and 7 days from Hyderabad, and the entire trip was well planned by Anuradha from Krishna Travels DMC.
Everything was smooth and hassle free. The itinerary, hotel arrangements, drivers, food, and overall coordination were handled perfectly. The planning was well balanced, making our journey comfortable and enjoyable.
Hotels we stayed at were Aurora Gangtok in Gangtok, which was a good stay overall with only minor internet connectivity issues. In Lachung, we stayed at Rufina Lachung Kunga, which was good and comfortable. In Darjeeling, we stayed at Aurora Grand Darjeeling, which was a pleasant stay.
