Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Bagdogra and Transfer to Gangtok - Leisure Day
  • Pick-up at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport.
  • Transfer to Gangtok (5500ft /130kms / 04 hrs.)
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • After breakfast, sightseeing in Gangtok.
  • Visit Bhanjhakri waterfalls, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom(Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Nam Nang View point & Flower Show, Ropeway.
  • After the sightseeing return to the hotel.
  • Spend the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • In the morning at around 07.30 am depart for Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
  • Return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Gangtok.
  • In case of a landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing.
  • * Nathula pass sightseeing can be available at non-refundable (optional).
  • You have to inform at least 72 hours before your travel.
  • * At any point in time, after getting pass from Sikkim Government, there will be no refund in case you cannot visit due to bad weather conditions or landslides, or any other reason.
  • No alternate sightseeing will be provided for Nathu La Pass.
  • Pick-up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m. depart for Lachung (124 Km, 6 Hrs) at an altitude of 9,600 ft.
  • On the way visit a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungchok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen Chu (river), and Lachung Chu (river) at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls, and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.
  • Lunch will be served at Namok.
  • Reach Lachung in the late afternoon/evening and check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at Lachung.
  • After breakfast full-day excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring (11800ft / 1½ Hrs).
  • After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (124kms/06hrs).
  • On arrival check on to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • *Note: Visitors may visit Yumesamdong or Zero Point if they want.
  • *Zero-point is close to Yumesamdong, although contrary to popular belief they are not the same places.
  • *After reaching Yumesamdong, one needs to walk a little to reach the Zero point.
  • *Officially one is not allowed to visit Yumesamdong/Zero Point.
  • *You can visit on a direct payment basis of approx 2500/-
  • After breakfast transfer to Pelling via Namchi.
  • On the way visit Temi Tea Garden, Char Dham Temple, Samdruptse Temple.
  • After sightseeing proceed to Pelling.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.

  • Visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Hydel Project, Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchenjunga Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery.

  • Sightseeing on the way.

  • In the early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).
  • On the way back visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.

  • After lunch visit White Pagoda, Ava Art Gallery & Natural History Museum.

What's Good: I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Welgreen Kerala Holidays, expertly managed by Mr. George. Our customized tour package exceeded our expectations, blending comf (Read More)ort and memorable experiences. Hotel selections were impressive: Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari offered breathtaking sunrise views and delicious food. Hotel Germanus in Madurai, Hotel Soma Palmshore in Kovalam, and Hotel Taika in Rameshwaram provided pleasant stays with good food and courteous staff. The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available. Some valuable tips for future travelers: verify temple timings and dress code regulations in advance to optimize your itinerary. Ladies can find lovely, affordable sarees and dress materials. Engaging local drivers or guides can also enhance your experience. Mr. George and Welgreen Kerala Holidays deserve 100% marks for crafting an unforgettable trip with thoughtful hotel choices and a well-planned itinerary. Had a great vacation and thanks to Rishi and team for arranging it. the itinerary covered all the good places and hotels was good as well. Special mention to our driver dada (Venkatesh) who really too (Read More)k care of our trip. Rishi was very helpful from the beginning and till the end of the trip. Hope to have more collaboration in 2025. Only one disappointment was Hotel Lake View which wasn't up to mark. It lacked basic amenities and is quite money oriented.
