Day 1 Arrival at Gangtok
- Pickup from NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport by our representative and transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival check-in to hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir
- After breakfast, start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir which is 55 kms from Gangtok city.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 3 Gangtok to Lachen
- After breakfast, pickup from the hotel and drive to Lachen.
- Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sister Waterfall and Naga Waterfall.
- Arrival at Lachen by evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 4 Lachen to Chopta Valley, Gurudongmar Lake and Lachung
- Early morning drive to Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake.
- Head back to the hotel.
- After lunch, drive to Lachung.
- Arrival at Lachung by evening.
- Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 5 Lachung to Yumthang Valley and Gangtok
- Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (also known as Valley of Flowers).
- On the way back, visit Hot Spring which are considered to have medicinal properties.
- Head back to the resort for lunch.
- Transfer to Gangtok.
- Enroute stop at the wonderful Bheem and Twin Waterfalls.
- On arrival at Gangtok, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 6 Gangtok Local Sightseeing and Transfer to Pelling
- After breakfast, start for a half day trip to Gangtok city.
- Visit Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry, Handicraft Centre, Flower Show, Dro-drul Chorten and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
- In the afternoon, head to Pelling.
- On arrival, check-in to your hotel.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 7 Pelling Sightseeing
- After breakfast, prepare for a full day sightseeing of Pelling.
- Visit Darap village, Khangchendzonga Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Rimbi Waterfalls and Khecheopalri Lake.
- In the afternoon, head to Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins and New Helipad Ground.
- Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 8 Pelling to Darjeeling
- After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling.
- On arrival, check-in to the hotel.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 9 Darjeeling Sightseeing
- Early morning (at 4.00 AM) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga.
- On your way back, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop.
- After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed) Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
- Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 10 Departure from Darjeeling
- After breakfast, check-out from the hotel on time.
- Drop to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.

One aspect that i think can be done better is planning for permits. Documents re (Read More)quired for permits were asked for at the last moment when I was already in my journey and I had to struggle to find the relevant documents while in the cab. This can be planned better
