Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
  • Arrive at the Kochi airport and be transferred to Munnar.
  • On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.

  • After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing.
  • Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
  • Time for shopping.

  • In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady. Thekkady is a world-famous wildlife sanctuary, and it is also called Periyar.
  • On arrival, check in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing cruise on Periyar Lake. Here you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar, etc.
  • In the evening you can take an Elephant ride at Periyar wildlife.

The hotel rooms in all the places were very good except the rooms in Kovalam alt (Read More)hough the hotel location in Kovalam was excellent... Also the Boathouse was very beautiful... And at night it was not parked in a congested area which was good...So, overall we had a good experience in lodging with Forido Travels and Tourism... Thank you...
If our driver was a bit interactive then our journey would have been better as i (Read More)n this tour we have sent most of our time in the road, travelling... No doubt he was well mannered and a nice person but it seemed, he was not at all interested in answering to our queries... Sometimes we keep asking him something in both English and Hindi but he doesn't even look at us... And also, most of the time he drove at a speed of 20 to 30 km/hr and he is constantly video chatting with others, so he kept on driving very slowly... Only once he drove nicely when we had to reach Alleppey from Thekkady after much request from me and my brother... Thank you...

we stayed at four places where 2 of them having hot water issues in morning ..so (Read More) hotels could have been more better for munnar specially

Everything was excellent hotels, house boat etc. Except hotel trio reivera, ro (Read More)oms are good but the reception staff was very arrogant and un cooperative
