Your adventure begins with an arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, where you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Along the way, visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, home to over 65 elephants, including adorable baby elephants. You can witness their feeding and bathing sessions, which are the highlight of the visit. Next, explore a Spice Garden, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka's famous spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper.
In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most important Buddhist temples in the world, where the Buddha’s tooth is enshrined. You’ll also stop by a Gem Gallery to see the precious stones Sri Lanka is renowned for. In the evening, enjoy the vibrant Kandy Cultural Show, featuring traditional music and dance performances. After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens, a beautiful garden with a diverse collection of flora. Then head towards Nuwara Eliya, known as "Little England" due to its cool climate and British colonial architecture. Once in Nuwara Eliya, you can relax in the lush surroundings or take a stroll around Gregory Lake, where you can enjoy a boat ride.
