Day 1 Arrival in Gangtok - Explore Local Markets
- Transfer: Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, you'll be transferred to Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim.

Day 2 Gangtok - Lachung (120 km; 6-7 hours drive)
- Morning: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lachung, a quaint village in North Sikkim.
- En Route Attractions:
Seven Sisters Waterfalls: A series of seven cascades, especially mesmerizing during the monsoon season.
Naga Waterfalls: Another picturesque waterfall offering a refreshing sight. - Arrival: Reach Lachung by late afternoon. Check into your hotel or homestay.
- Evening: Stroll around the village to experience local culture and traditions.

Day 3 Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion – Gangtok
- Early Morning: After an early breakfast, drive to Yumthang Valley, also known as the "Valley of Flowers," situated at an elevation of 3,564 meters.
- Yumthang Valley: Explore the valley adorned with alpine flowers (seasonal) and surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
- Visit the hot springs, believed to have therapeutic properties.
- Optional: If time and weather permit, proceed to Zero Point (Yumesamdong), located at an altitude of 4,724 meters, where the civilian road ends.
- Return: Head back to Lachung for lunch. Post-lunch, drive back to Gangtok, arriving by evening.

Day 4 Gangtok Local Sightseeing

One aspect that i think can be done better is planning for permits. Documents re (Read More)quired for permits were asked for at the last moment when I was already in my journey and I had to struggle to find the relevant documents while in the cab. This can be planned better
