Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Gangtok - Leisure Day
- Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport(IXB)/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus(Junction), transfer to Gangtok.
- On arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2 Transfser to Lachen via Chungthang
- After breakfast, proceed to Lachen via Chungthang.
- On arrival in Lachen, check in to the hotel.
- In the evening take a stroll and visit the Lepcha Village.
- Overnight stay at Lachen.
Day 3 Visit Gurudongmar Lake - Transfer to Lachung
- After breakfast, visit Gurudongmar Lake (optional tour Rs. 3500 - 4000 /extra).
- Next drive through the cold desert till Tibet/China.
- Return to the hotel for lunch.
- After lunch, drive to Lachung.
- On arrival in Lachung, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Lachung.
Day 4 Drive through Yumthang Valley - Transfer to Gangtok
- After breakfast, drive towards Yumthang Valley.
- Return to Lachung for lunch.
- After lunch, drive to Gangtok.
- On arrival in Gangtok, check in to the hotel.
- The evening is free to roam around MG Road (Mall) or the local shopping center.
- Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 5 Depart from Bagdogra
- After breakfast, transfer to Siliguri/New Jalpaiguri Railway Station(NJP)/Bagdogra Airport(IXB) for your onward journey back home.

The people of the place were very good and friendly,it's a must visit place and (Read More)about the travel agency,despite the communication gap,everything was provided on time according the itinerary plan.
The hotel facility could have been better. Hotels were at the right location but (Read More) the service was not up to the mark. Basic maintenance was lacked, broken cupboards, small insects etc which can be improved with little care.
