Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi to Bir
  • At 07:00 PM, board the Volvo bus from Delhi to Bir.
  • Overnight journey.
  • In the morning, around 07:00-08:00 AM, arrive at the Bir bus stand.
  • Your luggage will be transported to the campsite in Billing.
  • Briefing by the tour manager.
  • Take a cab from Bir bus stand to Bir town.
  • From 08:00 to 08:30 AM have breakfast (at your own cost).
  • After breakfast, travel from Bir town to the trekking point by local cab. 
  • On arrival, start the trek from Bir to Billing.
  • On arrival at Billing, you will be assigned tents.
  • Have lunch (included) at a designated area and take some rest. 
  • Afterward, you can ask one of our destinations hunter and they will guide you to Take off Point, and nearby treks that can be explored on your own.
  • Around 05:00 PM, evening hi-tea with light snacks will be served.
  • Afterward, enjoy the warmth of the campfire with some fun activities and jamming sessions.
  • From 09:00 to 10:30 PM, dinner will be served (included.
  • Overnight stay at Billing.
  • Wake up at 07:00 AM/08:00 AM.
  • After breakfast, a treasure hunt activity will be conducted.
  • From 10:00 AM onwards, paragliding session of 25 - 30 mins.
  • Later, your luggage will be transported by us to the Landing Site at Bir.
  • On arrival at the landing site at Bir, you can explore Bir Village, Chokling Monasteries, Tibetan Market, and if time permits you can also visit Sherbaling Monastery. 
  • Afterward, catch the evening bus from Bir Chowk.
  • Have lunch (at your own cost).
  • In the evening, board the volvo bus for Delhi.
  • Tour ends

What's Good: All destination Hotels and their Breakfast were excellent but suggest you to add fruits and Bread/Toast Butter/Jam as option for children and some time for adult also.

What's Good: I'm delighted to share my exceptional experience with Welgreen Kerala Holidays, expertly managed by Mr. George. Our customized tour package exceeded our expectations, blending comf (Read More)ort and memorable experiences. Hotel selections were impressive: Hotel Sea View at Kanyakumari offered breathtaking sunrise views and delicious food. Hotel Germanus in Madurai, Hotel Soma Palmshore in Kovalam, and Hotel Taika in Rameshwaram provided pleasant stays with good food and courteous staff. The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available. Some valuable tips for future travelers: verify temple timings and dress code regulations in advance to optimize your itinerary. Ladies can find lovely, affordable sarees and dress materials. Engaging local drivers or guides can also enhance your experience. Mr. George and Welgreen Kerala Holidays deserve 100% marks for crafting an unforgettable trip with thoughtful hotel choices and a well-planned itinerary. What's Not Good: The houseboat experience was outstanding, with mouth-watering local cuisine, including an unforgettable fish fry. However, hot water for bathing was not available and no more activities at the shore. Rather we would have preferred to stay in a hotel and take long ride of houseboat in the afternoon to late evening would have better.

Every part of travel good. The approach road to hotel Vagamon Vagashore at Vagamon and room service at Thekkady hotel named Kumly gate were poor .

Resort and hotel suggestions to suit my budget and strategically selected closer to places of interest was truly 5 star service from the agent. My solo trip was made safe and comfortable. Great sugge (Read More)stions were made to choose places to visit to make the trip fun, enjoyable and memorable. This awesome trip in a very long time was fun and refreshing. The paradise in Kerala will transcend your soul to haven. People are welcoming and friendly. I recommend Varkala tranquil beeches and Kovalam backwaters for the ultimate fun experience. Gods Own Country’s Kitchen is recommended for some great food and live music on the Varkala cliff point. If south temple architecture peeks your interest, then there are a few gems from ancient times hidden here to explore maintaining sanctity and faith in true form. Solo travellers pay couples rate which can be heavy on the purse. South India need to warm up to the idea that solo traveller numbers are increasing, male and female alike and in all age groups. Not only the cost of travel but people’s outlook need to change. Most of the temples here are only for believers in faith. Kanyakumari was crowded during the Diwali break. The seashore here is only to soak in the view. Thiruvananthapuram Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple darshan was divine however fleeting it maybe, but the mandapa which adorns the beautiful sculptures is out of bounds for devotees. The Garbhagudi could be well lit, so the devotees can properly catch a glimpse of the lord and be blessed. Since architecture is out of bounds recommend special entry for swift darshan.
