Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Kochi
  • Arrive at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • In the afternoon, proceed for the Kochi city tour.
  • Visit Dutch Palace and Jewish Synagogue, the Fort Kochi area which houses St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Kochi.
  • Transfer to Munnar, a beautiful hill station.
  • En route, halt for refreshments, and visit Valara Waterfalls.
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • Visit the tea plantations in the evening at Devikulam.
  • Later visit the local market and buy aromatic tea from the shops.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Munnar.
  • Visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of Munnar (famous for its tea plantations) (closed on Monday) and Eravikulam National Park to get a view of a variety of flora and fauna.
  • Enjoy local food/cuisine at a good restaurant (personal expense).
  • Later in the afternoon visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam as well as Echo Point which is famous for its ‘echo phenomenon.
  • In the evening return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel.
  • Drive to Thekkady.
  • En-route, visit Chillies Spice Garden.
  • On arrival in Thekkady and check in to the hotel and have lunch (personal expense).
  • In the afternoon, proceed for a boat cruise at Periyar Lake (on a direct payment basis).
  • Afterwards, you can do a spice plantation tour (personal expense).
  • Later in the evening, you may go to the theatre (non-air-conditioned/ on direct payment) to experience the traditional Kalari Show.
  • OR go shopping OR opt for an Elephant Ride (on a direct payment basis) in the evening.
  • Return to the hotel and enjoy time at leisure.

  • After an early breakfast, check out of the hotel in Thekkady.
  • Afterwards, proceed to Alleppey known as the ‘Venice of the East. 
  • On arrival check in to the hotel.
  • Visit the Mullakkal Raja Rajeswari Temple and opt for a short boat cruise through the backwaters (on direct payment).
  • In the evening visit the Alappuzha beach and enjoy the sunset.

  • Drive to Kovalam.
  • Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to the hotel and rest for a while.
  • Later, visit Hawa Beach & Light House.

  • Head for an excursion to Kanyakumari.

  • Return to Kovalam.

Accommodation was very good as per the expectations. Driver was very polite and (Read More)cooperative also very helpful. Overall very good experience.
There is no hot water available in boat house and had to take cold shower in col (Read More)d weather. Its better to keep the customers informed about this as not everyone will be comfortable with cold water showers.

This is Jagdish from trichy. We went to Munnar Thekkady and Alleppey 5 days and (Read More) 4 night tour package from October 1st October it was wonderful experience and way really love this journey. Ashwamedham holidays booked a nice star hotels at Munnar gokulam park and Thekkady also we went to houseboat at Alleppey all are good pleasent feel. There is a falls at Munnar you have to choose separate Jeep it is really wonderful and gives thrilling experience who wants to feel the real experience go to the falls using jeep ride. Also our driver Mr Vishnu has done great job. Our coordinator Mr.Rajesh has treat us gently.
Transfer from one place to another takes 3 to 4 hrs.
