Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kochi
- Upon arrival at Kochi International Airport/Railway Station, you will meet our representative.
- Transfer to the hotel and check in to the hotel.
- After freshening up, proceed for sightseeing in Kochi.
- Visit Adi Shankara Temple, and then feed and play with Elephants in Kodanad Elephant Training Camp.
- In the evening, watch a traditional dance performance.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at Kochi.
Day 2 Kochi to Mararikulam
- After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Mararikulam.
- Visit Arthunkal Church.
- Take a backwaters Cruise experience
- In the evening, return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Mararikulam to Alleppey
- After breakfast, drive to Alleppey.
- On arrival at Alleppey, check-in to the houseboat for an overnight cruise.
- Along the way, you will pass rice fields and tiny villages.
- You will disembark from the boat to wander in the villages and talk to the people.
- At night the boat will anchor midstream.
- Overnight stay at Alleppey.
Day 4 Alleppey to Kollam
- After breakfast, proceed to Kollam.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- After freshening up, visit Ashtamudi Lake, the children's Traffic and Entertainment Park, and Adventure Park.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Kollam to Varkala
- After breakfast, proceed to Varkala.
- On arrival in Varkala, check in to the hotel.
- Later, visit Varkala Beach, Sivagiri Mutt, Thiruvambadi Beach, Edava Beach, Janardana Swamy Temple, Vishnu Temple, Anjengo Fort, and Ponnumthuruthu.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Varkala to Trivandrum
- After breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum.
- On arrival in Trivandrum, check in to the hotel.
- Later proceed for sightseeing of Trivandrum.
- Visit Padmanabha Swami Temple, Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika, and Sree Chitra Art Gallery.
- Later in the evening, go shopping.
- Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 7 Trivandrum to Kovalam
- After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam.
- On arrival at Kovalam, check-in at the hotel.
- Later, visit the crescent-shaped beaches of Kovalam, i.e. Samudra Beach, Hawa Beach & Lighthouse Beach.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Kovalam to Poovar
- After breakfast, proceed to Poovar.
- On arrival in Poovar, check in at the hotel.
- After freshening up, visit Tirparappu Falls and the Rock Cut cave of Vinzjhinjam.
- Later in the evening, take a water taxi to visit Poovar beach and watch a beautiful sunset.
- Return back to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Poovar.
Day 9 Departure
- After breakfast, proceed to the airport/railway station to board a flight/train for the onward journey.

The driver should take a more proactive role as a guide, e (Read More)specially for passengers coming from other states. This would be very helpful for outsiders who may not be familiar with the local language, routes, or customs. A bit of guidance and local insight can make their travel experience much smoother and more enjoyable.
