Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar and Local Sightseeing
  • Arrival at Srinagar Airport.
  • Transfer to hotel and prepare for the city tour.
  • Visit the Shankracharya Temple situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat & Shalimar.
    These gardens were Mughal Emperors concept of Paradise and today these are popular picnic spots.
  • Also visit the handicraft shop where you can purchase local Hand Crafted items-shawls, jackets, bed covers, paper mache, carpets & much more.
  • In the evening leisurely stroll alongside the Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
  • Leave for Sonamarg in the morning.
    Also known as the 'meadow of gold’ , Sonamarg is last stop of Kashmir district.
  • From here starts the territory of Ladakh.
    Situated at an altitude of 2743 mt above sea level, the fast flowing Sindh River makes it popular for trout and masher fishing in summer.
  • You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment).
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening.
  • Overnight stay in the hotel in Sringar.
  • Early in the morning leave for Pahalgam.
  • Also known as the 'valley of shepherds', Pahalgam is situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake.
  • En route, visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and built by King Awantivarman.
  • Arrival at Pahalgam.
  • Enjoy the natural beauty or walk to Baisaren, which is about 2 km from Pahalgam. 
    Baisaran is a small village set in pine and fir forest.
  • In the evening, return to the hotel in Srinagar.
  • In the morning, have breakfast and drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers.
    The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating.

What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. The hiking to tiger's nes (Read More)t was a challenging one for us the senior citizens ( excluding my son) but gave us much satisfaction. The guide Mr. Tashi was of great help and care. Thanks one and all.
What's Not Good: The fees charged at some places we felt bit higher.

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.

What's Good: Our trip to Bhutan was unexpected and was very last minutes plan, however our agent Reshma from Yolmo holiday successfully made it worth of money and time both… our guide Sonam De (Read More)na and driver Thupten were both the best I could ever tell, they are very kind and were very adjustable when we changed our itinerary the last minute. We are so satisfied with our trip and will definitely recommend them to our friends and family circle.

What's Good: Trip was well arranged and well connected qithin the group memebers. Accommodation can be improved.
