Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar Airport & Srinagar Local Sightseeing
- Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, begin your tour of Paradise on Earth – Kashmir.
- Proceed for a city tour, visiting Shankaracharya Temple, which is Located on the highest hill in Srinagar and offers panoramic views of the city.
- Mughal Gardens:Chashme Shahi
- Nishat Bagh
- Shalimar Bagh
- These gardens reflect the Mughal emperors' vision of paradise and are popular picnic spots.
- Overnight stay: Hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2 Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (Full-Day Excursion)
- After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonamarg, known as the "Meadow of Gold."
- Located at 2,743 meters, Sonamarg is the last stop of the Kashmir district before Ladakh territory.
- Explore Sindh River, which is famous for trout and mahseer fishing in summer.
- Optional: Take a pony ride to glaciers for snow activities (at an additional cost).
- Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Srinagar – Pahalgam
- After breakfast, head towards Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds."
- En route, visit: Saffron Fields at Pampore.
- Awantipura Ruins: An ancient 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman.
- Upon arrival in Pahalgam, explore:Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (local cab hire required at an additional cost due to government restrictions on tourist cabs).
- Overnight stay: Hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 4 Pahalgam – Srinagar Markets & Dal Lake Houseboat
- Enjoy a morning of exploration in Pahalgam, then drive back to Srinagar.
- Visit a local handicraft shop to buy handcrafted shawls, jackets, bed covers, carpets, and more.
- In the evening, enjoy a stroll by Dal Lake and explore the local markets.
- Overnight stay: Houseboat on Dal Lake.
Day 5 Departure from Srinagar
- After breakfast, check out from the houseboat.
