Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day tour of the famous monasteries in the region. Visit Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery, one of the most revered in Ladakh. On the return journey, explore Shey Palace and the Rancho School, made famous by the movie "3 Idiots." In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Leh, covering Sankar Gompa, the peaceful Shanti Stupa, and the historic Leh Palace. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Enjoy breakfast before setting off for a full-day excursion to Alchi, located about 70 km west of Leh. En route, visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, the Magnetic Hill, and the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to Indian soldiers. Upon arrival in Alchi, explore its impressive monastery complex, dating back to the 11th century and known as a masterpiece of monastic art and architecture. Later, return to Leh for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey to Nubra Valley via the iconic Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), the highest motorable road in the world. Enjoy breathtaking views at the top before continuing your scenic drive to Nubra Valley. Upon arrival, check in to your tented accommodation. In the afternoon, visit Diskit Monastery and take a stroll around the quaint town of Diskit. Overnight stay at the campsite in Nubra Valley.

Post breakfast, visit the village of Sumoor and explore the Panamic hot sulphur springs. You may also enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride (optional, at your own cost). Later in the afternoon, drive back to Leh. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After an early breakfast, set out on a scenic drive to the stunning Pangong Lake via Changla Pass (17,586 ft). Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of Ladakhi villages and stop at Tsoltak, the summer grazing area for yaks. Continue driving through Durbuk before reaching the western shore of Pangong Lake. Upon arrival, check in at the lakeside campsite. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.
Wake up early to admire the mesmerizing views of Pangong Lake, known for its constantly changing shades of blue. The lake stretches over 144 km, with half of it lying in China. Spend the morning soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. After breakfast, begin the drive back to Leh. Arrive in Leh by evening and check in at your hotel. What's Good: We liked every aspect of the tour to Bhutan. The tour and travel agent M/s A V travels Jaigon has done a great job to make the tour very much enjoyable. Sundeep's Trip to Paro, Punakha, Thimphu, Eastern Bhutan, Bhutan

What's Good: ## Bhutan Experience Our journey through Bhutan was largely impressive, with knowledgeable guides who showcased the country's rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes with g (Read More)enuine enthusiasm. The drivers navigated the winding mountain roads with skill and professionalism, ensuring our comfort throughout most of the journey. However, our second night at Paro Rema Resort fell short of expectations in terms of dining. The food quality was disappointing compared to other meals we enjoyed in Bhutan, lacking both flavor and presentation that would be expected at a resort of this caliber. ## Sikkim Portion The transition between destinations proved problematic. Our transfer from Bhutan to Gangtok felt unnecessarily rushed, with a driver who seemed more concerned with completing the journey quickly than ensuring passenger comfort or allowing us to appreciate the scenic route. Upon arrival in Gangtok, we were pleased with our hotel's prime location on MG Road, offering convenient access to local attractions, shopping, and dining options. Unfortunately, the hotel's service standards did not match its excellent location. Staff responsiveness was inconsistent, and several basic amenities were either missing or required multiple requests. Overall, while the Bhutan portion of our tour delivered a memorable experience, the Sikkim segment would benefit from significant improvements to transportation and accommodation service quality.
