Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Leh
- Meet our representative upon arrival.
- Rest and acclimatization to Leh’s high altitude (11,500 ft / 3500 m).
- Overnight stay in Leh.
- Meals: Hi-tea with Cookies & Dinner.
Day 2 Leh - Shyam Valley Tour
- Post breakfast, drive towards Kargil road for sightseeing:
- Hall of Fame – A museum constructed by the Indian Army.
- Kali Mata Temple & Gurudwara Patthar Sahib – Built in 1517 to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev’s visit.
- Magnetic Hill – Experience the vehicle-defying gravity phenomenon.
- Sangam (Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers) – A picturesque viewpoint.
- Drive back to the hotel. Evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
- Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 3 On to Nubra Valley (Approx. 160 Kms / Approx. 05 hours’ drive)
- Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (5,602 m), one of the world's highest motorable roads.
- Check in at the camp.
- Afternoon visit:
- Diskit Monastery & Maitreya Buddha Statue (Ladakh’s tallest Buddha statue).
- White Sand Dunes of Hunder – Enjoy a double-humped Bactrian camel ride (complimentary).
- Evening at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
- Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 4 On to Pangong Via Shyok (Approx 275 Kms / Approx. 8 Hour Drive)
- Post breakfast, drive to Pangong Tso Lake via Shyok River & Durbuk.
- En route: Cross Chang La Pass – the world's third-highest motorable road.
- Check in at the camp. Rest of the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Pangong.
- Meals: Breakfast & Dinner.
Day 5 On to Leh
- Early morning, witness the picturesque sunrise over Pangong Lake.
- Post breakfast, return to Leh.
- En route visits:
- Thiksey Monastery – A beautiful monastery resembling Tibet’s Potala Palace.
- Shey Palace – A former royal residence.
- Drop at Leh Market for self-exploration.

- Oxygen cylinders will be provided during the journey to Nubra and Pangong. Personal oxygen cylinders can also be hired from Day 1.
- Carry heavy woolens and thermal wear.
- Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption due to high altitude.
- Accommodation in Nubra and Pangong will be in camps due to infrastructure limitations.
- Only postpaid mobile connections work in Ladakh, with BSNL/MTNL offering the best network coverage.
- Sightseeing is subject to weather and political conditions.
- It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card (Passport, Aadhaar Card, Driving License, or Voter ID).
