Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kochi & Transfer to Munnar
- Arrive at Kochi airport and be escorted to your car for a drive to Munnar.
- On arrival at Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
- In the afternoon, visit Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park - open as per the directions by the forest authorities) & Tea Museum.
- In the evening, a short visit to Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.
- Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2 Munnar Sightseeing
- After breakfast, proceed sightseeing.
- Visit Mattuppetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu Viewpoint, Blossom Park, etc.
- In the evening, you can go out shopping.
- Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3 Munnar to Thekkady
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Thekkady.
- On arrival, check in to the hotel.
- In the evening, go for a walk at the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary.
- Later go boating at Periyar Lake.
- Enjoy a boat safari on Periyar Lake to view the varied wildlife of this region.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Thekkady to Kumarakom
- After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat around 09:00 AM.
- Afterwards, drive to Kumarakom.
- On arrival at Kumarakom, check in to the resort.
- Spend the day at leisure.
- OR you can enjoy Ayurvedic spa facilities at your lakefront resort or explore the nearby villages (on your own).
- Overnight stay at Kumarakom.
Day 5 Kumarakom to Alleppey
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey.
- On arrival, check in to the traditional Kerala Kettuvallam (houseboat) by 12 noon.
- On the houseboat, one can skim past ancient Chinese fishing nets, water lilies, lush paddy fields, coir villages, rustic homes, temples, churches, coconut groves, innumerable lagoons, lakes, canals, and estuaries.
- Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 6 Alleppey to Kovalam
- Drive to Kovalam.
- Upon arrival in Kovalam, check in to the hotel and rest for a while.
- In the evening, relax at Kovalam Beach.
- Overnight stay at Kovalam
Day 7 Excursion to Kanyakumari
- Head for an excursion to Kanyakumari.
- Visit the Sunset Point, Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda rock memorial, Gandhi Mandapam, the statue of Tiruvalluvar, and 3 ocean meeting points (the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and the Arabian Sea).
- Return to Kovalam.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8 Departure
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Depart to board your flight/train for your onward journey back home.

We had an amazing Kerala trip experience. Everything was perfectly arranged from (Read More) pickup to drop. The hotels were clean and comfortable, and the locations were beautiful. Munnar was definitely the highlight of our trip. The driver was friendly and guided us well throughout. Highly recommended!

Last day we got bad experience. Our train from ernakulam to Bangalore was at 2.2 (Read More)0pm. He brought us at 11.30 and told that take all your luggages from the vehicle and go to train. We told that keep all the luggages in the vehicle and we will take after returning from market. He has not accepted. We suffered like this, as we don't know anything in the new place. When it is 7 days trip, till evening vehicle shall be with us.
On 08.03.2026, he left us at 3.30 pm at the hotel. In the evening we went to haw (Read More)a beach in a auto. As per schedule padmanabha temple visit was on 8.03.26, but he did not take us. On 09.03.2026 he took to the temple, which took lot of time and reduced our boat house experience.
Food & hospitality was very good at manner. It was average at thekkady and samudra Teeram hotel.food was good at boathouse, but water provided is very bad. We could not take bath at house boat.
