Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati - Transfer to Bhalukpung
- Arrive at the Guwahati airport/station and be picked-up and escorted to Bhalukpung.
- On reaching Bhalupkung, check-in to our hotel.
- Visit the Bhalukpong Fort and Tipi today.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Transfer to Dirang
- After early breakfast, leave for Dirang.
- On the way to Dirang, visit the orchand research center, which is amdist of thousand of orchids and tribal village of Sherdukpen.
- Check in to the hotel at arrival and later proceed for sightseeing.
- The evening is free
- Overnight stay at Dirang.
Day 3 Transfer to Tawang - Visit Hot Springs and Sela Pass
- After breakfast, leave for Tawang.
- En-route visit the famous hot springs of Dirang.
- On the way stop at Sela Pass and Jaswantgarh Museum. Proceed to drive to Tawang
- On arrival check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.
Day 4 Excursion to Bumla La Pass
- After a delicious breakfast, head for an excursion to Bumla La Pass.
- Today explore the Madhuri Lake, known initially as Sangestar Tso Lak.
- Spend the day exploring the lake and to witness the history of the Indian War that took place at Bumla La in 1962.
- In the evening head back to Tawang for a night stay.
Day 5 Transfer to Bomdila - Explore Local Markets
- After breakfast, head out for Bomdila.
- Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel.
- Later visit Lower Gompa and Emporium Local Market.
- Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 Transfer to Tezpur - Visit Nameri National Park.
- After early breakfast leave for Tezpur.
- On arrival, check-in to the hotel and later proceed for sightseeing.
- Visit Agnigarh and then head to Nameri National Park.
- You can go swimming or river rafting in the park.
- Overnight stay at Tezpur.
Day 7 Transfer to Itanagar - Explore Fort, Lake, Temple and More
- After early breakfast, leave for Itanagar.
- Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.
- Visit Ganga Lake, Ita Fort, Namdapha National Park , Rupa and Gompa Buddhist Temple.
- Overnight stay at Itananagar.
Day 8 Transfer to Ziro - A Visit to Fish Farm, Wildlife Sanctuary and More
- After breakfast, drive to Ziro.
- Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.
- Visit Tarin Fish Farm - Paddy cultivation, Kile Pakho, Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and Meghna Cave Temple.
- Overnight stay at Ziro.
Day 9 Depart for Guwahati
- After breakfast, leave for airport/station to continue your journey home.

The stay at Tawang was really good, the drive to Bumlapass was wonderful...Had a really good time experiencing the snowfall and watching the indo china border which is really a lifetime experience...
So far the stay at Kaziranga Resort was exceptional... Resort stay with a swimming pool made kids have a delightful experience making them miss the stay. Top-notch reception at Kaziranga Resort Mr.Pritham Bohra 7002831410 that felt like visiting family. Bihu dance last night was wonderful giving us a great experience on cultural dance of Assam.. Even adults started enjoying by joining and hitting the dance floor...Only exception was Kaziranga National park, which did not meet our expectations as the only thing to watch was deers and few one horned rhinos and we were not allowed to cross more areas and climb tower during safari.... But the resort stay and their food was satisfactory and loved by our team.
A special mention to our drivers, Mr. Atour Ali and Mr. Rahman who were incredibly polite, punctual, and safe on the road. Their professional conduct added a great sense of security to our journey. Highly recommended for anyone planning a family getaway!"
On long mountain drives (like the route to Tawang), pre-identifying "premium" re (Read More)st stops with clean facilities can improve the experience for women and children. Ensuring the Tempo Travellers have working Bluetooth/Aux for music or even small pillows/neck rests for the kids can make the journey more relaxing.
Arrangements of one "Local Specialty Night" at each stay to better experience the culture of places like Meghalaya or Arunachal.

It was a great experience with Inderoots Travel. The way they planned the journe (Read More)y and selected the places was impressive. I truly loved and enjoyed every moment. It was a luxe trip, and the destinations they chose were absolutely wonderful.
On the first day, the hotel had not been checked for a king-size bed, so I ended (Read More) up with a twin-size bed instead. Since this was my honeymoon trip, it was quite disappointing. I informed the team and requested that they double-confirm the bed type with every hotel going forward to avoid such issues.
