Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Delhi to Manali By Volvo Bus
  • Board the Manali Bound A/c Volvo Coach in the evening around 6 PM from Majnu Ka Tilla.
  • Distance: 580 Kms.
  • Duration: 12-13 hours.
  • Overnight on board.
  • After a leisurely breakfast, begin your half-day city tour visiting the following attractions:
    • Hidimbi Devi Temple
    • Manu Temple
    • Vashisht Temple
    • Tibetan Monastery
    • Van Vihar near Mall Road
  • Hidimbi Devi Temple, also known as the Dhungri Temple, is located 2 km from the Manali Bus Stand. This ancient cave temple was built in 1553 by Raja Bahadur Singh and is dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, the wife of Bhima, one of the Pandavas from the Mahabharata epic.
  • The Hidimbi Devi Temple stands 24 meters tall and features three square roofs with timber tiles, surmounted by a cone-shaped fourth roof covered in brass. The wooden facade and windows of the temple are richly carved, and the wooden door frame is adorned with carvings of various deities and other designs. The walls of the temple are uniquely decorated with horns of animals, and the base is made of whitewashed mud-covered stonework.
  • Manu Temple, dedicated to the Indian sage Manu, is located in Old Manali. Manali is named after the sage Manu, who is considered the creator of the human race on Earth according to mythology, and it is believed that he meditated here. This is thought to be the only temple of Manu in India.
  • Manu Temple was built in the pagoda style of architecture. To reach the temple, one must walk through the slippery stone paths of Old Manali for about 200 meters. This ancient temple is a prominent place of worship for the local people of Manali, who visit daily to offer their prayers to the sage Manu.
  • Vashisht Temple in Manali is dedicated to Sage Vashisht, the Kula Guru of Lord Rama, located in the village of Vashisht across the River Beas. The village of Vashisht was named after Rishi Vashisht, one of the seven sages of Hinduism. The Vashisht Temple is believed to be more than 4000 years old.
  • The Vashisht Hot Water Spring is one of the famous attractions in this region, believed to have medicinal value. The springs are said to cure many skin diseases, and many people visit the Vashisht baths to take a dip and rid themselves of skin infections and ailments.
  • Evening free for independent activities or exploring Mall Road. Overnight stay at a Manali hotel.
  • Early morning, proceed for a full-day excursion visiting Kothi, Gulaba Fall, Rahala Fall, Marhi, Rani Nalah, and Rohtang Pass (up to the snow line in case Rohtang is closed due to snowfall).
  • The majesty of the mountains and glaciers can be seen at their best on the way to Rohtang Pass.
  • After enjoying this snowy heaven, take a sledge ride down the slopes and try your luck by climbing the little snow hills.
  • On descending to Manali, halt at the Rahalla Falls and Solang Valley.
  • Enjoy rope trolley, paragliding, zorbing, and other adventure activities at Solang Valley.
  • The magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight.
  • Night stay in Manali. (Rohtang will depend on the permit at an extra cost.)
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
  • Enjoy souvenir shopping and local handicrafts on Mall Road.
  • Catch your evening Volvo bus around 5 PM.
  • The bus will drop you off in Delhi the next morning before 8 AM.

  • Any personal expenses, room service, and special orders, including mineral water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, phone calls, laundry, etc.

Cancellation Policy

  • In all other cases, the cancellation charge will be as per the booking conditions of the tour, and we shall be constrained to levy the following cancellation charges per person:
  • If cancellation is made at least 31 days before departure, INR 10,000 per person will be deducted (excluding ticket cancellation and visa charges).
  • 30-16 days before departure: 75% of the total land cost.
  • 15-8 days before departure: 100% of the total land cost.
  • 7-0 days before departure: 100% cancellation will apply.
COVID LOCKDOWN POLICY:
  • If a lockdown occurs one month before the travel plan and we are unable to provide services on the travel date, we will refund the amount, and the refund will be processed after the travel date has passed.
  • If a lockdown occurs within one month of the travel plan, a credit note will be provided, which can be used on future dates.
  • Any cancellation without a lockdown will be processed according to the standard cancellation policies.
