Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Rishikesh to Rudraprayag
  • After breakfast in Rishikesh, known as the Yoga Capital of the World, begin your journey to Rudraprayag. The drive offers stunning views of the Himalayan foothills and the holy Ganges.
  • Stop at Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the sacred Ganga. Spend time admiring the pristine waters and visit the Raghunathji Temple.
  • Continue to Rudraprayag, the confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers, considered sacred by pilgrims.
  • Arrive by late afternoon and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, a revered cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated along the Mandakini River.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Rudraprayag.
  • Start your day early with a scenic drive to Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek. En route, marvel at the Mandakini River valley and lush green landscapes.
  • Gaurikund, named after Goddess Parvati (Gauri), is also home to a hot spring where pilgrims bathe before commencing the trek.
  • Begin the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple (pony, palki, or helicopter options available at additional cost). The trek offers mesmerizing views of the Garhwal Himalayas.
  • Upon arrival, check into your guesthouse or dormitory.
  • Visit Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a significant site in Hindu mythology, believed to be built by the Pandavas.
  • In the evening, attend the divine Aarti at the temple amidst the serene mountain ambiance.
  • Overnight stay at  the Guesthouse/Dormitory in Kedarnath.
  • Begin your day with an early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the sight of the temple against snow-clad peaks, is truly spiritual.
  • Trek back to Gaurikund and board your vehicle for the return drive to Rudraprayag.
  • Arrive in Rudraprayag by evening and relax at the hotel. Enjoy the peaceful ambiance and river views.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Rudraprayag.
  • After breakfast, begin your drive to Badrinath, passing through Joshimath, the winter seat of Lord Badri.
  • Stop at Narsingh Temple, which houses an idol of Lord Vishnu in his Narsingh avatar. According to mythology, this is the winter residence of the deity when Badrinath remains snowbound.
  • Continue to Badrinath, a sacred Char Dham site dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
  • Upon arrival, check into your hotel and proceed for darshan at Badrinath Temple, believed to be established by Adi Shankaracharya.
  • Visit Tapt Kund, a natural hot spring where pilgrims bathe before temple rituals.
  • Attend the evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple, which is a profoundly spiritual experience.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Badrinath.
  • Wake up early for morning darshan at Badrinath Temple.
  • Explore nearby attractions:
Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Indo-China border.
Vyas Gufa, where Sage Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata.
Ganesh Gufa, associated with Lord Ganesha.
Brahma Kapal, where ancestral rituals are performed.

Avidfly vacations had arranged my Singapore and Malaysia 8 days during August 2019 from Kochi and return . I had a good experience and they kept their promises and tour was arranged as detailed in the (Read More)ir tour agreement and plan. Singapore hotel was good enough and but at Malaysia I was not that satisfied with the hotel (the hotel was good but the room which their sub-agent provided and the service was not that good) . Also if entry tickets are provided well in advance then we would find more comfortable. In totality I can say they are reliable , customer friendly , helpful at all time whenever we have any issues. So would definitely recommend if anybody is looking for a tour package.

It was a well organized trip to malaysia. However, they were a little late in providing us with the Visas before the trip. Also, they promised us an evening of transport for us to use to roam around, (Read More) however, they backed out and did not give us that. They could have suggested a better itinerary for KL, since it was not adventurous or exciting.

It was nicely managed trip by Catwalk Holidays. Documentation part very well taken care and also response before departure. Also after reaching to Singapore-Malaysia, the pick-up, site seeing, hotels (Read More)all were excellent. No problem at anywhere and all went smooth. Only problem was - In KL (Malaysia) the rooms of hotel Arenna Star were too small and without any facility. Please select little better hotel than this. Otherwise overall experience was excellent and thanks for this hospitality.
