Day 1 Arrival at Hanoi - Leisure Day
- On arrival at Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our tour guide and then transfer to the hotel and check in.
- Spend the day at leisure.
- Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 2 Hanoi City Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for a city tour in Hanoi.
- Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum.
- Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting palace.
- Also, visit Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts located just next door.
- Visit One Pillar Pagoda.
- Later visit Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam.

Day 3 Hanoi to Halong Bay

Day 4 Halong to Hanoi to Da Nang to Hoi An
- In the morning, enjoy a Tai Chi session on the sun deck.

- Return to the boat and have a buffet brunch while cruising back to the dock.
- Return to Hanoi.
- On arrival at Hanoi, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Da Nang.

Day 5 Hoi An Walking Tour
- After breakfast, spend the day at leisure.
- OR visit Cua Dai beach.
- After lunch, proceed for a walking tour of the old center of Hoi An.
- Visit an old merchant home, the Japanese Bridge, Hoi An Market, and a local Chinese pagoda.
- Later in the afternoon, visit the tailors and the many riverside cafes along the Thu Bon River.
- Overnight stay in Hoi An.
Day 6 Explore Hoi An
- After breakfast, you have the option to join one of the group tours to explore local life.
- You can either go for the tour of Tra Que Village(lunch).
- Ride a bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village.
- The guide will introduce you to the history of the village, the cultivation of the vegetables as well as the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine.
- You can take a trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake.
- You can do activities such as raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens, and many more gardening activities.
- You can spend the day working on the land.
- For lunch, you can join the preparation for lunch with a local family.
- OR you can choose to go for the tour of Fishing Village (lunch).
- Enjoy learning traditional fishing techniques to paddling the strange and unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats while exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm flanked waterways of a past war.
- You will be provided an authentic social and cultural insight into the local Vietnamese way of life.
- You can also take part in some hands-on activities that are fun, safe, and interesting to people all of the ages.
- Learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families, and their community.
- Enjoy Thung Chao Basket boat dancing with Gangnam style shown by our local crews on the river and learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in a basket boat race.
- Afterward, return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Hoi An.
Day 7 Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City
- After breakfast, proceed to Ho Chi Minh city.
- On arrival at Ho Chi Minh, check in to the hotel.
- After lunch, drive to Cu Chi Tunnel.
- You will be guided through the tunnels used by the communist guerrillas during the Vietnam War.
- Return to the hotel.
- Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 8 Ho Chi Minh City Tour
- After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Ho Chi Minh.
- Walk along Dong Khoi Street and visit the most prominent French colonial structures in the city centre.
- Visit the Municipal Theatre, City Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Central Post Office.
- Also, visit Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum.
- Later, visit Red Door Deco.
- Have dinner while cruising on the Saigon River.

Day 9 Excursion to Cai Be & Vinh Long
- After breakfast, proceed to Cai Be.
- On arrival at Cai Be, you’ll board a motorized boat that takes you to the floating market.
- Spend 1 hr at the floating market.
- Afterward, proceed to a great orchard by rowboat where you can freely taste many famous tropical fruits of Vietnam.
- Later, see how coconut candy, crispy rice cake and ceramic are made here (served free with premium hot tea.)
- Afterward, ride bicycles and roam through a village to check out several rural shops.
- OR you can relax on a hammock for a short rest.
- Visit the marketplace.
- Return to Ho Chi Minh.

Day 10 Departure
- After breakfast, spend the morning at leisure.
- Later check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey back home.

2. Very genuine with suggestions and doesn't do things as a job or formality.
3. James is very knowledgeable.
4. The enthusiasm and passion shown by James was just so infectious.
5. The planning of itinerary takes care of all the finer details.
6. They really take care of your focus and they don't try to sell anything you are not interested in. For example we skipped the village visit because we didn't see value in it.

The entire trip was handled with extreme professionalism by both Janet and our g (Read More)uide Bonnie.
We got to see the Big5 within 3 days of our itenary and more on the next days. Janet was very thorough with our itenary and helped us throughout and Bonnie knew all the best spots on all of our game drives. We didn't feel rushed throughout our tour, because it is designed very well to accomodate enough rest. 10/10 recommend
We didn't expect Kenya to be so cold, so at some places we missed warm water for (Read More) wash

From the very beginning, Christine and Judith from Donwel Tours were highly atte (Read More)ntive to what we were looking to get from our first ever trip to Kenya, and Africa, for that matter. We wanted to cover a lot of ground, and were going from one agency to another before we found Donwel as most agents couldn't quite squeeze everything we wanted into our itinerary. Judith and Christine however made it all possible. Good quality stays everywhere, regular communication through the trip to ensure we were ok and were getting what we wanted.
