Day 1 Welcome to Vietnam - Hanoi Arrival

Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Today is free for you to rest or explore the city at your leisure. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart at 8:00 AM for a full-day Hanoi city tour. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House to learn about his life. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, and enjoy a traditional music performance. Have lunch at a local restaurant and try authentic Hanoi Pho (noodle soup). In the afternoon, choose one from several cultural sites: Museum of Ethnology, Women’s Museum, History Museum, or Quan Thanh Temple. Walk around Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi’s Old Quarter, enjoying shopping and traditional street food. End the day with a Water Puppet Show, a must-see cultural performance. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, depart for Halong Bay by private bus (3.5-hour drive). Board a traditional wooden junk boat and begin cruising through the stunning limestone islands. Enjoy lunch onboard, featuring fresh seafood. Visit the Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave) and Wooden Grottoes, followed by swimming in the bay’s emerald waters. In the evening, relax on the top deck with cocktails, try squid fishing, or simply enjoy the stars. Stay overnight on the cruise.

Wake up early for sunrise Tai Chi on deck. Enjoy breakfast while cruising through thousands of limestone islands. Visit a floating fishing village, learning about local life. Have lunch on board before returning to Halong City and driving back to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Depart early morning for Sapa by limousine bus (5.5-hour drive). Arrive in Sapa Town and check in at the hotel. After lunch, take a short trek to Cat Cat Village, home of the Black H’Mong ethnic people, and visit a waterfall and an old French-built hydroelectric station. Enjoy scenic views of Fansipan Peak before returning to Sapa Town. Stay overnight in Sapa.

Have breakfast at the hotel and prepare for a longer trek. Trek through Y Linh Ho, Muong Hoa Valley, Lao Chai, and Ta Van Village, passing rice terraces and stunning mountain views. Have a picnic lunch at Lao Chai Village before heading to Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay ethnic people. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi, arriving in the evening. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Take a morning flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, visit the Cham Museum, home to some of the world’s finest sandstone carvings. Continue to Marble Mountain and Cua Dai Beach before driving to Hoi An, a well-preserved trading port with influences from Japanese, Chinese, and Portuguese cultures. Spend the rest of the day exploring at your own pace. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Depart at 8:00 AM for My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former religious center of the Champa Kingdom. Explore ancient red-brick towers and temples, built between the 7th and 13th centuries. Return to Hoi An for lunch (at your own expense) and enjoy free time for shopping or sightseeing. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Enjoy a full-day Hoi An city tour. Visit ancient temples, the Japanese Covered Bridge, and the Sa Huynh Museum, which showcases Hoi An’s earliest history. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village, famous for its woodworkers and shipbuilders. Return to Hoi An and spend the evening at leisure. Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Enjoy a free morning in Hoi An before flying to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check-in. Spend the evening exploring the city on your own. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Start the day with a city tour, visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Reunification Palace, and the War Remnants Museum. After lunch, head to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used by Vietnamese soldiers during the war. Explore hidden entrances, living quarters, and trap mechanisms. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the evening. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, depart for My Tho, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. Cruise along the Mekong River, visiting local islands, a coconut candy workshop, and a bee farm. Explore the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest in the region. Enjoy a traditional lunch before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the airport for your flight home. Check-out time is before 12:00 PM.

What's Good: All the arrangements were good, and all transitions were hustle free and smooth. Ms Ann was always very proactive in response and customizing our visit based on our requirement. (Read More)Our tour guide, Brandon in Danang was very good and we enjoyed his company. I would recommend Halu Vietnam Tours to all people who wants luxury vacation without any stress.
What's Not Good: Hotel we stayed were very good but breakfast option was not Indian friendly. Everything had Pork and Beef. They can include some better options in chicken and fish and vegetarian.

First time we have experienced this much h (Read More)ospitality in a foreign country!A special thanks to Ms Han , the person behind the tour she made sure everything is as perfect as it can be,she is a gem of a person and an amazing amazing person!!!We literally look forward to making more trips with her. she was there with us 24 7 and was always available with everything we needed or wanted.So we visited da nang first and phong was our guide , Super caring and amazing even made sure everyone crossed the road . He did things he didn’t even need to do which weren’t part of his duty.He was an excellent human being super nice.He managed everything with so much effort and efficiency that we are super happy and impressed by the kindness people have showed in here.Then we went to Saigon and were welcomed by Mr Law , He was so generous and welcoming we thought we were India, he was so fluent in English , told us everything about his country culture sang songs for us.
